“If You Wish Upon Me” Unveils Hopeful Faces of Ji Chang Wook, Choi Sooyoung, and Sung Dong Il

If You Say Your Wish

Premiering in August, the new KBS drama, If You Wish Upon Me, will soon heal the audience with its stories of hopes and last wishes.

If You Wish Upon Me revolves around the dangerous young man Yoon Gyeo-rye, who barely has the motivation to live. After countless detentions, he later serves as a volunteer in a hospital that grants ill people’s last wishes.

In the newly released poster, Ji Chang Wook, who portrays Yoon Gyeo-rye, captivates viewers’ hearts with his smile. But behind this bitter but light smile also gives a glimpse of his character’s distressing background.

Meanwhile, Choi Sooyoung, as the optimistic nurse Seo Yeon-joo, spreads the happy virus in the series. Notably, her eyes show care and firm determination in fulfilling her patient’s last wish.

On the other hand, Sung Dong Il acts as the leader of “Team Genie”, Kang Tae-shik, smiles with an affectionate gaze, showcasing his warm heart.

Overall, the different emotions the actors display indeed draw attention.

The poster also sparks curiosity on what will be the stories behind the characters of Ji Chang Wook, Choi Sooyoung, and Sung Dong Il.

Later, as the plot progresses, viewers will eventually know how they will cross paths, what kind of relationship they will have, and if they will achieve their last wishes. The story follows their past, present, and future.

With their hopeful faces, the audience may expect the plotline to be emotional as the characters seek to find light in their world full of darkness.
