“Insider” Wields Latest Poster Showing Kang Ha Neul Engulfed In Darkness
Kim Yo-han’s End Game
Kang Ha Neul takes on the role of Kim Yo-han, a senior judicial trainee whose fate has changed due to an undercover investigation. He infiltrates the gambling world to catch the weaknesses of the corrupt prosecutors. However, he gets caught up in an unexpected incident ending up in the prison.
At the infamous Seongju Prison which is synonymous to disorder, desire and lawlessness coexist. There, he moves as an ‘insider’. He has hidden his identity and purpose, and begins a survival quest for revenge.
In the published photo, Yo-han’s fate is completely overturned. Sitting in front of the gambling table, the game in front of him is only a means, not an end.
However, it seems that the investigation did not go in a smooth direction, and his swollen face and sweaty appearance suggest that his plans have been disrupted.
His gambling investigation ultimately led him to the prison. His enraged face shows that the place he entered after pursuing his beliefs was none other than hell.
Through gambling, Yo-han notches a ticket to a second chance and with a vengeful spirit that can’t be traced by his stoic expression.
Amazed at Insider’s script, Kang Ha Neul conveys thoughts about his new work.
“While I was reading the script, it was a story that raised my excitement. I was also curious about the charisma of Director Min Yeon-hong, who led the filming happily.
He also describes Yo-han as a “cold water with a heart that is like a fire”.
“It is a character who continues to walk a tightrope between injustice and anger as well as cold rationality and passion. I put a lot of thought into expressing it.”
JTBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama Insider will be broadcast for the first time at 10:30 pm on June 8.
