Kang Ha Neul’s charisma and fury highlight the overwhelming dark aura of the compelling official poster of Insider.
JTBC’s upcoming action and thriller drama, Insider, is set to bring viewers into the dark world of Kim Yo Han. Starring Kang Ha Neul, Lee Yoo Young, Heo Sung Tae, Kim Sang Ho and other notable actors, the cast members are ready to show their unparalleled synergy.
Directing the series is Director Min Yeon Hong, who will also be directing a prequel to another mystery drama, Missing: The Other Side. He will be working with Writer Moon Man Sa, that penned the Priest and Spark.
Insider is an action-suspense drama narrating the story of Kim Yo Han (Kang Ha Neul). He is a judicial trainee who fell into an unexpected incident during an undercover investigation in a gambling ring. Yo Han then struggles to win the loss of fate stolen from him in the prison.
Furthermore, the series promises a drama of psychological warfare, intense action, and a battle of mind experience. The gruesome revenge of a man who is in a match with the world that led him to destruction would be the key point of the series.
The official poster has a darker aura than the first teaser poster released for Insider. It features Kang Ha Neul and his shift from being a righteous judicial trainee to a man who is ready to survive and take revenge.
Moreover, the burning photo of Yo Han in his judiciary suit symbolizes this ‘person’ fading away. However, a more fierce and determined character of him stares back in the dark.
The Insider production team raises expectations, stating,
“Insider faces a number of incidents in which Kim Yo Han reversed even the justice he had deep in his heart at the Seongju prison dominated by evil. Look forward to the performance of Kang Ha Neul. He will portray the complicated psychology of Kim Yo Han, who is shaken, frustrated, and fights again.”
JTBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama Insider will premiere at 10:30 PM on June 8.
