A businesswoman you can’t mess up with is the role of Lee Yoo Young in Insider!
Scheduled to launch on June 8, Insider also stars Kang Ha Neul and Heo Sung Tae as the lead villain. Kim Sang Ho and other notable actors are ready to show their unparalleled synergy.
Directing the series is Director Min Yeon Hong, who will also be directing a prequel to another mystery drama, Missing: The Other Side. He will be working with Writer Moon Man Sa, that penned the Priest and Spark.
Revenge-Driven Oh Soo-yeon
Overwhelming with her stunning beauty, Lee Yoo Young brings life to Oh Soo-yeon. Beautiful and intelligent, she knows her way to subdue her opponents. She is a businesswoman who hides a sharp knife behind her soft smile.
Depending on the situation or adversary, she has a good sense of judgment, but she bravely jumps to risky choices if necessary. The driving force that moves Soo-yeon is her vengeance plan.
A good judge of character, she recognized the potential of Yo-han and marks him as her new “sword”.
Imparting her thoughts about Insider and her latest character, the actress felt grateful for the work.
“I am very honored to be participating in a work with senior actors. I really enjoyed the script. It was a script I was looking forward to with unexpected twists and turns and actions as the episodes went on. It is a work that has fun, thrill, and emotion.”
Introducing her character, she remarked that Oh Soo-yeon is a lively character with colorful charms.
“She is a woman with great power, but also a human being who dreams of revenge because of her pain. Strength and weakness coexist. As a character, I wanted to express both of them well. I also focused on playing the role of Yo-han’s ally well.”
JTBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama Insider will be broadcast for the first time at 10:30 pm on June 8.
