Starring Lee Jae In, Kim Woo Seok, Choi Ye Bin and Cha Woo Min – this new mystery thriller chronicles high school students forced to participate in a mafia game of death, with no means to end it.
In Night Has Come, after their mid-term, the high school students of Yooil go on a school retreat to Damyang. At the fall of the day, the students arrive at the secluded retreat center located in the deep mountains.
While the adults leave to help other students who are involved in a car crash, a mysterious app gets installed on the students’ phones, and the deadly game of “Mafia” begins.
Not knowing what awaits them ahead, the students voted out of fun for Heo Yul. However, when midnight strikes, Heo Yul kills himself, plunging everyone into a deep sleep along with the message “Night Has Come” on their phones.
With excellent inferential skills, Yoon-seo (Lee Jae In) tries her best to find a means to escape.
Jun-hee (Kim Woo Seok) is the class president. He is responsible and has a strong sense of justice, but his resolve starts to waver as his classmates begin to die one by one.
Terrified and desperate to escape, the classmates must unravel the mysteries of the “Mafia Game” while struggling to break the curse to survive. Every decision they make can mean life or death.
Starring young and well-known talents who won multiple acting awards like Lee Jae In (Racket Boys, Hospital Playlist), Kim Woo Seok (Bulgasal Immortal Souls, Finland Papa), Choi Ye Bin (Penthouse series, It’s Beautiful Now), Cha Woo Min (Weak Hero Class 1, The Tasty Florida), Ahn Ji Ho (All of Us Are Dead, Move To Heaven) and Jung So-ri (Pachinko, The Devil’s Deal), the series promises a psychological showdown as the students navigate the challenges of survival.
Helmed by PD Im Dae-woong (Search, House of the Disappeared), penned by Kang Min-ji, this multi-genre drama will premiere on K-PLUS on the same day as Korea.
Anchoring on a friendly social game “The Mafia Game” known to everyone, its fast-paced plot will keep viewers engaged, reflecting the true nature of humans in the post-pandemic era.
Night Has Come will premiere on K-PLUS starting 4 December 2023, Monday at 9.15pm (GMT+8) with 4 episodes back-to-back. New episodes will air weekly every Monday to Thursday at 9.15pm (GMT+8)
