Get ready for the debut of Seoul Busters, a new Korean cop comedy hitting Disney+ this September.
This police dramedy follows a team of underperforming homicide detectives who are in for a rude awakening. Starring Kim Dong Wook, Park Ji Hwan, and more, the series promises a lot of laughs as the Songwon Homicide Division faces big changes.
For years, the Songwon Homicide Division has consistently ranked among the worst performers in the Korean police force. Composed of a group of misfit officers, the team is about to be shaken up with the arrival of a new captain. Known for his excellence, the new captain aims to turn the division around in this entertaining series.
Seoul Busters features Kim Dong Wook (My Perfect Stranger, Delightfully Deceitful) as the ambitious police captain Dongbang Yubin; Park Ji Hwan (Our Blues, The Roundup) as former boxing champion turned homicide officer Moo Joong-hyeok; Seo Hyun Woo (A Shop For Killers, My Mister) as the thrifty officer Jung Junghwan; Park Se Wan (Doona!, Just Dance) as the laid-back cop Seo Minseo; and Lee Seung Woo (Vigilante, Our Beloved Summer) as the scruffy detective Jang Tansik.
The series is directed by Ahn Jongyeon and Shin Joonghoon and written by Lee Youngchul (High Kick!, Hit the Top) and Lee Kwangjae (Smashing On Your Back).
Fans of Korean comedy can also enjoy other hit series on Disney+, including Han River Police and Crash, as well as acclaimed police dramas like The Worst of Evil and Vigilante.
Don’t miss Seoul Busters, premiering this September exclusively on Disney+.
