Spring of Youth has officially decked its broadcast schedule!
Beginning May 6, 2025, Spring of Youth will air every Wednesday at 10:40 PM KST, with a special two-episode premiere: Episodes 1 and 2 will be broadcast back-to-back on May 6 and 7 at 10:40 PM, offering viewers an immersive start to this emotional and uplifting journey.
Written by Kim Min-chul and helmed by acclaimed director Kim Sung-yong—known for his work on The Veil and My Dearest—Spring of Youth is co-produced by Studio S, FNC Entertainment, FNC Story, and Monster Union.
The series tells the story of Sa-gye, the frontman of Korea’s top K-pop band Four Seasons, who is suddenly expelled from the group and finds himself thrust into a whirlwind college life he never anticipated. Navigating this unfamiliar world with a touch of chaos and comedy, he falls head-over-heels for the spirited Kim Bom and begins a new chapter by forming a mysterious college band. What unfolds is a heartfelt coming-of-age story filled with music, love, and self-discovery.
A captivating blend of campus drama and music-fueled emotion, Spring of Youth is set to charm viewers with its vivid visuals, polished production, and emotive storytelling. With SBS and “band powerhouse” FNC Entertainment joining creative forces, audiences can expect a feast for both the ears and eyes—an unforgettable mix of energy, sincerity, and rhythm.
The cast brings together fresh talent and established names to form a compelling ensemble. Rising star Ha Yoo Joon, set to debut as the lead vocalist of the new band AxMxP in 2025, takes on his first major acting role as Sa-gye. Charismatic, free-spirited, and brimming with optimism, Sa-gye is a space superstar whose positive mindset becomes a driving force in the story. Ha Yu-jun’s casting is already creating buzz, as the drama promises to showcase his multifaceted charm.
Park Ji Hu, who has wowed audiences with her performances in All of Us Are Dead, Little Women, and Concrete Utopia, plays Kim Bom—a talented student from Hanju University’s Applied Music Department. Once Ivy League-bound, her dreams were derailed after her mother’s passing six years ago. Now juggling part-time jobs, Bom’s life takes a new turn when she meets Sa-gye. Park infuses the role with a mix of grit and youthful charm, positioning herself firmly as the next romantic-comedy leading lady.
Lee Seung Hyub, a member of the band N.Flying and an increasingly recognized actor, steps into the role of Seo Tae-yang—a first-year student whose pure musical ability alone earns him the title of band president. As a “legend on campus,” Seo Tae-yang balances quiet charisma with emotional depth. Viewers are eager to witness Lee’s nuanced portrayal of this heart-achingly sincere male lead.
The drama also features Kim Sun Min (Undercover High School) as the upbeat and reliable drummer Gong Jin-goo, and Seo Hye Won (Lovely Runner) as Bae Gyu-ri—Bom’s cousin and Sa-gye’s biggest fangirl, injecting humor and relatability into the group dynamic.
To build excitement ahead of the premiere, the production recently unveiled a vibrant ‘band poster’ featuring the five main characters.
In the poster, Ha Yoo Joon, Park Ji Hu, Lee Seung Hyub, Kim Sun Min, and Seo Hye Won come together with radiant smiles, capturing the refreshing energy and hopefulness that the drama promises to deliver. Their connection as bandmates and friends hints at the heartfelt bonds and musical synergy that will be explored throughout the series.
A representative from the production team expressed, “We’re thrilled to finally reveal the official premiere dates. Spring of the Four Seasons is a story about youth, healing, and rediscovery. Starting this May, it will offer a midweek escape—like a spring breeze filled with warmth and vibrance.”
Spring of Youth is poised to be one of 2025’s must-watch dramas. Tune in every Wednesday at 10:40 PM starting May 6, with a special back-to-back launch to set the stage for a season full of melody, emotion, and charm.
