Achieving another victorious feat, Netflix’s Squid Game lands the top spot on Google’s most searched television shows in 2021 worldwide!
According to Google’s recently published report of trends this season, Squid Game bested other globally acknowledged and acclaimed series. The series was ranked No. 1 in the most searched series/shows rankings not only in South Korea, but also in the United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, and other countries.
In addition to the TV show search rankings, it was ranked 9th in the total search terms for the most searches in the world. Notably, it was the only video content ranked in the overall ranking, including movies and TV shows.
Following Squid Game, the most searched TV shows in the world are Bridgerton, Wanda Vision, Cobra Kai and Loki, which took second to fourth place, respectively.
