Ambitious with its riveting concept, SBS drama The Killing Vote is slated to broadcast in August.
The series stars Park Hae Jin, Park Sung Woong and Lim Ji Yeon in the main leads.
The Killing Vote narrates the story of tracking down an unknown and elusive extortionist who conducts a national death penalty vote on vicious criminals and executes them.
It is based on the popular webtoon of the same name, which has been serialized on Kakao Webtoon and Kakao Page recording about 130 million views to date.
The series stars Park Hae Jin (From Now On Showtime, Kkondae Intern), Park Sung Woong (Unlock My Boss, Bloodhounds) and Lim Ji Yeon (The Glory, Lies Hidden In My Garden) in lead roles.

Meet the Lead Pair of The Killing Vote
Introducing the male lead Kim Moo-chan, the series drops character stills of Park Hae Jin.
In the photo, the actor is staring somewhere in an unidentified place where only red lights shine in the dark. The sharp gaze incites curiosity as to what kind of situation Moo-chan will be in the story.
Subsequent photos reflect Park’s reliable acting as a police officer with grit and charisma.
The production team lauds the actor’s immersion in the series.

Meanwhile, Lim Ji Yeon portrays Joo Hyeon a 5th-year lieutenant at the Cyber Security Bureau of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. When it comes to solving a case, she is a ‘clever’ police officer who does not hesitate to get to the bottom of the case.
The filming stills of the female lead show her alone in a dark place that appears to be the scene of the incident.
Her eyes are sharp as she examines the scene with a flashlight. Notably, the look on her face amplifies the breathtaking tension with how she expressed emotions.
