The King Of Pigs

TVING’s thrilling drama adaptation of The King Of Pigs affirmed its talented cast!

The award-winning craft of Yeon Sang Ho comes to life through the thrilling performances of anticipated actors. Furthermore, the South Korean animated film, The King Of Pigs, is recognized in the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.

It follows the stories of “pigs” that experienced bullying and school violence. Twenty years later, the bullied Hwang Kyung Min (Kim Dong Wook) killed his wife after his business bankrupt. 

He then reunites with his middle school classmate Jung Jong Seok, played by Kim Sung Gyu. Kyung Min asks for his detective friend to recollect his memories in middle school.

Detective Kang Jin Ah (Chae Jung An) appears and helps the two find out what happened to Kim Chul, “The King Of Pigs.”

Meet The Anticipated Actors

Playing as Hwang Kyung Min, actor Kim Dong Wook made himself known in multiple thriller and suspense dramas. The actor’s usual delicate and charming aura transforms into a fiery character for the series.

In return for Kim Chul’s kindness to them, his anger drives him to find out what happened to him years ago.

In addition, fans know the actor for his outstanding performance both on the small and big screens. Kim Dong Wook aces his roles in Find Me In Your Memory, Along With The Gods, You Are My Spring, and alike. 

Adding more intensity is actor Kim Sung Gyu as Jung Jong Seok. The usual “pig” became a passionate detective and want to stop violence in their city.

He tracks down a message he received twenty years ago to help him recall their unpleasant memories. 

Kim Sung Kyu is a rising actor who portrays in popular series. The actor has been showing different colors in his roles in Kingdom and A Piece Of Your Mind

Lastly, Chae Jung An transforms as Jong Seok’s senior police officer, Kang Jin Ah. She strongly believes in principles and has a passion for his job.

Furthermore, the production team is excited about the series. They said, “We want to retrace the origin of violence that is prevalent in our society through The King of Pigs.

TVING starts filming The King Of Pigs and aims to broadcast this month.
