WINNER’s Kang Seung Yoon Joins The “Racket Boys” Team

Kang Seung Yoon confirms to add more fuel to the burning passion and chemistry in the smashing hit series, Racket Boys.

The Monday-Tuesday drama series of SBS, Racket Boys, announced Kang Seung Yoon to join the lively cast. The series has been maintaining its top position since the first episode. 

Racket Boys tackles the passion and growth of nineteen badminton players in the rural area. Their journey to reach their dreams encountered friendship, love, and failures.

WINNER’s Seungyoon’s portrayal appears in the upcoming episode to be broadcast tonight, July 12. He transforms into former badminton genius player Kang Tae-sun.

He suddenly disappeared and came back after ten years. 

The new character raises questions and expectations from the viewers. In the released teaser, he humbly sweeps the floor as he sweats.

In addition, the idol’s appearance also adds excitement to fans. After Seungyoon’s performance in Kairos, he’ll once again conquer the stage of acting. 

Kang Seung Yoon’s decision to perform on Racket Boys influences by Jeong Bo Hoon. The two actors are known to work together in Prison Playbook.

The production team of the series shares expectations that fans should look forward to Seungyoon.

They stated, “Kang Tae-sun, a mysterious character who has been mentioned steadily since the beginning of the play, is finally an axis of the story and adds more dynamics in the story.”

WINNER’s leader, Seungyoon, both started acting and performing in 2011. He became a trainee at YG and featured his acting skills on High Kick! The Revenge of the Short Legged. 

The talented performer also showed his passion and love for these careers. He participated in King Of Mask Singer and released his single, ‘Iyah,’ last March. 

Furthermore, he worked on The Producers, Love For A Thousand More, and also currently appears in Voice 4: Judgement Hour.
