A Good Day To Be A Dog Episode 9 Highlights
Basking in their newfound romance, Hae-na and Seo-won celebrate their love adorably. They decide to keep their relationship a secret.
The curse was finally broken for Hae-na. On top of that, she also officially dates Seo-won.
Yul who confirms his uncle and teacher dating together cutely gives reminders in My Sassy Girl movie vibe.
Meanwhile, Teacher Lee and the Vice Principal are revealed to have been acquainted. Despite the latter’s request that they go back to where they belong, Teacher Lee is firm to end whatever he has decided on.
At school, Hae-na and Seo-won flirt with each other and people who have an interest in Seo-won spot how the two seem to be in a romantic world of their own.
“I’ll always be by your side.”
When Yu-na wants to assess her feelings for her best friend Woo-taek, she asks Hae-na not to go to their house. Seo-won invites her to his place since Yul will be sleeping over with his friend.
Imagining steamy thoughts, Hae-na kept getting distracted in the presence of her new boyfriend. Locked in an almost kill, the moment was interrupted when Teacher Lee arrived at the house.
Just as Hae-na hides inside Yul’s room, the latter also arrives. Seo-won huddles the two for a boring movie watch which puts the two to sleep. Sneaking in to check on his girl, he sees her sleeping. He wakes her up and shares a passionate kiss.
Meanwhile, Min Ji-ah confronts Teacher Lee about what she saw at the historical archive. He brings her back to his hideout and the portrait of a woman who looks like her is gone.
Offering a card reading to Teacher Lee, Ji-a’s reading conveys how he has left a good place for a dead woman, and now living an aimless life. She also relays how that dead woman does not even want what he did with his life.
In a flashback, we see a woman with the same face as Ji-a’s giving a kiss to Teacher Lee, a then-mountain-god.
Looking for the cute dog trinket that Hae-na gifted her, Seo-wom receives a call from Teacher Lee to visit him. He sees the trinket near his camper van. As he reached for it, a sword was pointed at him by Teacher Lee.

Secretly dating can be fun but we hope Hae-na and Seo-won can freely do it at school. Teacher Lee’s wrath which caused him to give a family curse to Hae-na is now shaping to be connected to his relationship with a woman from the past connected to Hae-na’s ancestor.
In the remaining five episodes, we hope we can get an equal distribution of thrill and romance. Because, hey, we’ve been patient to the crumbs of delightful notes the series has so far provided.
Can we finally have a clearer insight into the past that connects our lead characters to the present?
