Connecting the dots, Ha Woo-shin and Song Su-hyun come closer to the truth as they continue to unfold shocking revelations.
Mr. Lee tracks Special Investigations Headquarters (SIH) to find prosecutor Song Su-hyun and local news reporter Kim Seo-hee. After ARES stole all the case files of Lee Chang-woo from 22 years ago, Mr. Lee discovers the relationship between Chang-woo and the twins.
On the other side, Ha Woo-shin still finds ways to get the Adamas in his hands. But as he digs deeper, he discovers hidden stories inside the mansion.

The Posh Haesong Mansion In K-Drama “Adamas” Is A Striking Museum In Wonju

“Be wary of Ms. Yoon. She was the one who recommended you.”
Meanwhile, inside the Haesong mansion, Eun Hye-soo goes back and meets Ha Woo-shin. The writer tells Hye-soo Ms. Oh caught him while trying to search for more clues about the whereabouts of Adamas.
Hye-soo then informs Woo-shin that Adamas will get its shape recrafted for the inauguration of Hyun-jo.
Now, to take Ms. Oh out of the picture, Hye-soo also gives Woo-shin information about Ms. Oh’s background and cold personality. With that in mind, Woo-shin bribed Ms. Oh and gave her money to keep the secret of going to the chairman’s office. Woo-shin knew that time from Ms. Oh that he got the recommendation to be a ghostwriter from Ms. Yoon.
Later at night, Hye-soo shares to Woo-shin that he loved Kwon Min-jo, revealing he only gave the letter to Woo-shin back then, as she knew from Min-jo that Lee Chang-woo was innocent.
Hye-soo wants to catch Min-jo’s killer, whereas Ha Woo-shin desires to steal the Adamas to clear his father’s name. She even insisted Min-jo died after proving Lee Chang-woo’s innocence, and she could only think of one man who might do this — and that is Mr. Kwon.
Meanwhile, Ms. Yoon received flowers from a sender named Sun. The note says, “To my beloved sister,” which made Ms. Yoon panic.
“Our purpose is to apprehend the chairman
and dissolve Team A.”
Prosecutor Song Su-hyun and Seo-hee go to the Special Investigations Headquarters office. They know that Mr. Kang of SIH wanted to catch both the chairman and the ARES’ Team A.
After a lot of disagreements, they worked together to stop the aim of Haesong and ARES to legalize and market firearms to the public.
Ms. Lee of SIH and Seo-hee go to her home to get the file reports she gathered from Lee Chang-woo’s case, but someone got rid of them while she was not around.
On the other hand, Gong Dae-chul, a co-worker of prosecutor Song Su-hyun, got in danger as Sun barged into his house. Sun, who is related to Ms. Yoon, is also connected with Mr. Lee of ARES.
“It was motherly love, not just affection.”
Ha Woo-shin seems not to forget the photo album of Ms. Kwon he saw in her room. Because of his curiosity, he asks Ms. Oh about the relationship between Ms. Kwon and Mr. Kwon. Another revelation unfolded as Ms. Oh said that Mr. Kwon had a heart transplant before, and the donor was Ms. Kwon’s son. That is why Ms. Kwon treats Mr. Kwon like his own child
After the revelation, Woo-shin purposely wrote “In The Name of Mother”, indicating that Mr. Kwon got the heart of Ms. Kwon’s child after faking he was already brain dead.
It was to try and test if Ms. Kwon would be able to be swayed and lose his trust in Mr. Kwon.
Ms. Kwon read the novel and got so much hurt. She then confronts Woo-shin, and it turns out she deliberately gave his son’s heart to Mr. Kwon. She was guilty, and that is the reason why she always got sensitive talking about his son. In the end, she remained firm to be loyal to Mr. Kwon.
“We don’t know when we’ll die, so, it’s no use of making friends.”
After failing to visit Lee Chang-woo, Prosecutor Su-hyun and Mr. Baek of SIH went to Song Soon-ho’s grave. They made sure his stepfather’s remains were saved from being vandalized by ARES.
They secured their last evidence; however, right after they got in the car, they heard a phone ringing in the trunk. As they opened it, they saw the body of Gong Dae-chul.
Su-hyun was so mad and emotional as he answered the phone. He then hears the voice of Sun, who was also at the cemetery. Sun then proceeded with her plan to kill the prosecutor through a bomb explosion.
Meanwhile, at the Haesong mansion, after Woo-shin knew the truth about Ms. Kwon, one thing still bugs his mind. He keeps thinking about why ARES kept Lee Chang-woo alive after the murder 22 years ago.
It turns out that Lee Chang-woo, who held his mouth shut throughout the years, is actually part of Team A.
Adamas Episode 7 and 8 Musings
Adamas keeps on getting interesting. The story’s build-up could really make the viewers hooked to the series.
In addition, the unforeseen connections of other characters to one another make it more intriguing. Even Ms. Oh and Ms. Kwon got a good amount of exposure on these episodes, enabling the viewers to witness their stories as well.
Lee Chang-woo being part of Team A was also a great plot twist. It would be a good idea to tell his back story to understand his actions in the past episodes.
Viewers should watch out for Sun, who seems would make a bigger move in the following episodes.
And since the 80th-anniversary celebration of Haesong will take place in the mansion, expectations are now on whether Ha Woo-shin will get the Adamas or not.
