Resigned to make up for failing to recognize his son’s reincarnation, Hwal and Sang-un search for Do-yun in the 10th episode of Bulgasal: Immortal Souls.
Giving more details about the lonely and solitary life of Ok Eul-tae, the truth Hwal wants to confirm is also uncovered. But will he be able to know it?

Bulgasal: Immortal Souls Episode 10 Key Moments
Realizing Do-yun is the reincarnation of his son A-chan, Hwal sets forth to locate him. Unknown to Hwal, the sisters he left behind were visited by Ok Eul-tae.
Sensing he should be at where he left off, Hwal returns just in time to drag the villain away. Taking Sang-un with him, Hwal proceeds to find Do-yun who was taken away by Eul-tae’s secretary, the reincarnation of the dueoksini who harbors grudges towards Hwal.
Finding Do-yun
Deducing where the secretary took Do-yun, they head to a mountain. Sang-un expresses she figured out Do-yun’s connection to him. Hwal keeps blaming himself for not recognizing it right away. He shares how he is affected by his karma for being his son 600 years ago.
Heading to the same place, Ok Eul-tae spots Detective Kwon fixing his rundown car. They go together to check on dueoksini’s husband unaware that they are both in the forest.
Hwal and Sang-un face the husband and wife that are both monsters but the dueoksini fled after falling to a cliff with Hwal. Luckily, Sang-un gets the information they need on where Do-yun was taken.
Ok Eul-tae’s Heartbreaking Choice
Waiting at her car, the dueoksini realizes Ok Eul-tae’s presence. She also reveals how his secret is out since she already shared it with Do-yun. At that same moment, Do-yun wakes up in an unfamiliar place.
He spots his phone and finds multiple calls from people looking for him. Returning Hwal’s call, he was about to share about his past life’s death and his mom too in the hands of Ok Eul-tae, but the latter arrives to stop it.
Making him say what his secretary revealed about him, Do-yun genuinely responds to it. He tells him about the absurd story of how in his past life he was killed by him. Embracing him, tears well in Ok Eul-tae’s eyes as he stabbed Do-yun painfully.
Bulgasal: Immortal Souls Episode 10 Musings
Sporting amusing interactions between the heroes and the villain, Bulgasal: Immortal Souls has settled all the ingredients heading to its culminating point. Raving about Lee Joon is one of my favorite things to do these days and for a good reason.
Although Lee Jin Wook is on his usual impressive element, Lee Joon is really the life of the party in Bulgasal. This episode suggests a bit of humanity in him by presenting his filial side. Correspondingly, his fondness towards Do-yun is really genuine.
However, his being focused on his ultimate end game forced him to harm Do-yun who can attest to Sang-un’s claim that she did not kill Hwal’s family.
A few more questions left unanswered would adorn the remaining episodes of Bulgasal: Immortal Souls. We have yet to get the full details of the sisters’ abilities. Along with that, defeating the powerful bulgasal is quite a tedious job that may require all the protagonists’ efforts in the series
