Business Proposal Episode 7 Key Moments
“Do you know what my love for you and this credit card have in common? They both have no limit.”
Listening to their meaningless assumptions, Shin Ha-ri overhears her friends’ conversation about her impossibility of dating a cool boyfriend like Tae-mu. She consequently changes her mind about giving them the truth and allows Tae-mu to assist her in maintaining her pride.
Thinking of a concept for Shin Ha-ri’s “boyfriend,” Tae-mu comes up with a way to display his wealth. Looking at the pricey menu, Tae-mu draws Ha-ri’s attention by asking her whether she is aware of the similarity between his love for her and the credit card. When Ha-ri is stumped for an answer, Tae-mu informs her that they are similar since they both have no limitations.
Successfully gaining the hearts of her friends, Tae-mu adds to his approach by being a sweet and clingy partner to Ha-ri. He delivers beautiful lines and even catches Ha-ri as she is about to fall to the ground.
To prevent her friends from having any suspicions, Tae-mu and Ha-ri spend the night at the hotel together. The following day, Tae-mu is supposedly returning to Seoul to attend to some pressing business. However, Min-woo keeps convincing Ha-ri to stay with them. He then chooses to stay and spend the entire day with Ha-ri.
“In my eyes, Ms. Shin is someone with endless charm. So don’t you dare judge my girlfriend ever again. Is that clear?
Continuing to flex his wealth, President Kang uses his grandfather’s yacht this time.
Informing Ha-ri that it is rather difficult to see some dolphins, Tae-mu reminds her that he knows how much she likes dolphins because she mentioned it to him, despite the fact that it is all over her SNS accounts.
When asked how the two met, Ha-ri hesitates to speak, but Tae-mu enlightens them by saying that he has been following her since he fell in love with Shin Ha-ri at first sight. Meanwhile, Ha-ri considers that he probably believes she is insane from their initial meeting.
Recalling their blind date, Tae-mu basically tells them that he has never encountered anybody as crazy as Ha-ri. He proceeds to tell her friends that every time they met, she would do something strange, which he subsequently discovered was her way of attempting to push him away.
During his private conversation with Min-woo, Tae-mu wants to just give Min-woo a good word, as he is receiving a lot of work and Tae-mu’s company is doing well, owing to Ha-ri’s recommendation of him as their team’s head chef.
Upon inquiring why it had to be Ha-ri, Min-woo thinks that Ha-ri is unfit to date someone like President Kang.
Emphasizing Shin Ha-ri’s worth in his eyes, Tae-mu believes that she is someone with unfathomable beauty inside and out. He consequently warns Min-woo that he should never judge his girlfriend again.
Given Ha-ri is feeling unwell, Tae-mu immediately rushes her to the nearest hospital. They both returned to Seoul afterwards.
Waking up from her sleep, Ha-ri regains her strength and expresses gratitude to Tae-mu for everything he has done for her and her friends.
“If you reject me, I’ll ask you out again and again until you finally like me back.”
Explaining to Ha-ri why he prefers to spend the entire weekend with her pretending to be her boyfriend, regardless of the fact that he loathes wasting his time more than anything else. Tae-mu then confesses to Shin Ha-ri that he has affection for her.
Tae-mu consequently allows Ha-ri some time to consider whether to accept or reject his feelings for her.
Avoiding his presence for the next few days, Ha-ri thinks of refusing Tae-mu’s feelings, believing that people will be dismayed that Tae-mu’s rumored girlfriend will be her.
Visiting the set, Tae-mu discovers Chef Lee and Shin Ha-ri shooting the new product where it would be filmed. Ha-ri then notices that Tae-mu is there and accidentally pressed the sauce container.
After washing off the sauce that had spilled on her lab coat, Ha-ri exits the women’s restroom and sees Tae-mu outside.
Approaching President Kang with the news that his grandfather is on his way to him, Tae-mu grabs Ha-ri’s hand and runs away to hide her from his grandfather.
Alone, at last, Tae-mu tells Ha-ri that he informed his grandfather about his and Geum-hui’s breakup. After all, he is no longer able to present her to him. Ha-ri encourages Tae-mu to go on a blind date and then informs him that she is rejecting him.
Reminding her of his feelings, Tae-mu reveals once more that he has affection for Shin Ha-ri and would not give up on her. And if she rejects him repeatedly, Tae-mu will woo her again and again until she shows a willingness to like him back. Ha-ri then kisses Tae-mu in response.
Business Proposal Episode 7 Musings
Parading two heart-fluttering confessions at once, Business Proposal episode 7 is definitely full of love and sweetness from Kang Tae-mu and Cha Sung Hoon.
They are both setting the standard by loving someone regardless of whether she is an ordinary employee, while the other courageously crossed the line, taking the relationship to the next level.
Notably, we can’t help but adore Kang Tae-mu even more in this episode for choosing to be with Shin Ha-ri above his work and for defending her and looking at her as if her worth is immeasurable in his eyes. This makes us wish we could take Ha-ri’s place if she continues to reject his affections for her.
With all the kidding aside, this chapter is filled with heart-fluttering moments from the main characters, particularly when Ha-ri initiates the kiss. Additionally, it warms our hearts as Tae-mu reassures Ha-ri when she has uneasy sentiments about herself and believes she is unfit to date someone like him.
This chapter probably marks the birth of the annoying character, Chef Min-woo. He is literally a walking human red flag. He belittles Ha-ri’s worth and even thinks that she is undeserving of anything better.
Finally, this episode demonstrates that some people still respect honesty and fidelity when it comes to making a commitment in a relationship. That is proven by the fact that Tae-mu’s grandfather will not tolerate him cheating on another woman. We hope that more of us will embrace this kind of mentality in real life.
