Forecasting Love and Weather Episode 4 Key Moments
Last episode’s hanging question was answered by Ha-kyung consistent with her conviction. She tells Si-woo to ignore the fleeting emotions as she will not date a colleague and that their relationship will remain as a senior-junior at work. Albeit having mutual special feelings, she opted not to proceed with it or so it seems.
“The smarter the woman is, the more capable her man should be.”
Episode 4 has Team KMA swamped with fog problems that even caused a 14-vehicle collision. Having systematic and diligent people, the agency has all the bases covered.
While Ha-kyung is back to her amazing self, Ki-jun’s stress meter is escalating at an alarming rate. He was asked to revise his work for the internal publication which his senior pointed out to be quite sloppy. His predicament made him look back on how he was helped by Ha-kyung before when he encountered problems.
Adding to that, Yu-jin is asking him to connect her with a director for her news feature. Later, she chances upon Ha-kyung who obliged for the interview on why there is no fog advisory in South Korea.
Providing her professional insights and seeing it differently on the published news report of Yu-jin made Ha-kyung give the reporter an earful. Asserting she did well, Ha-kyung slammed how Yu-jin didn’t even bother to check the facts first.
Ha-kyung recognizes Ki-jun’s presence and turns the chide on him before leaving them. Partly blaming Ki-jun, he responds that he told her to wait but she proceeded with it. He also brings up his recent discovery of how she lied about not knowing Si-woo when they used to date.
“Right now this is the visibility that only we have. At times, we may encounter bad weather like a thick fog, yellow dust, rain, or snow. But through those moments we’ll learn something. That the best way to narrow our visibility is by mustering the courage to take a step closer to each other.”
It turns out that when Ha-kyung seemingly rejected Si-woo, she in fact decided to take a leap of faith to enter a relationship with Si-woo. Her condition is for them to keep it a secret at work.
While the other team members think that Ha-kyung is giving Si-woo a hard time, the two endearingly enjoy their newfound love with furtive flirtations and even hold hands secretly.
Reaching the tipping point of her mom’s meddling in her love life, Ha-kyung decides to camp in her apartment. Working on the report to refute Yu-jin’s brainless news article, she pesters Si-woo who has barely gotten sleep for compiling the reports she assigned to him.
Knowing well he won’t get any sleep, he decided to just go to where his woman is. In the morning, they gaze at the serene sunrise before getting some sleep.
Forecasting Love and Weather Episode 4 Musings
Aligning to its set backdrop, episode 4 of Forecasting Love and Weather took us to an adorable unpredictable chapter. It’s definitely refreshing that our female lead, who is dominantly rational, trusted her heart more to return Si-woo’s feelings for her.
At the press conference, PD Cha mentioned how the writer spent two years at KMA for research and development of the story. We can definitely see how detailed and smart the incorporation of the significant responsibility of KMA is in the perspectives of the fictional characters.
Commendably, while getting these insights, the romantic direction of the narrative continues to be engrossing.
Of course, it would be nicer to have the love birds flaunt their relationship in public. But considering their situation, even in the real world, it’s reasonable for them to compromise on that decision.
Next episode’s preview looks to thread on the “reality” of the tangled relationships of the main leads. We see Si-woo leaning on a resolute side, but would he have a change of heart?
Also, I’m not sure about other viewers, but I’m petty so I’ve been praying a lot these days for the cheating couple to suffer. I hope it will happen soon and won’t complicate their ex-partners.
