Ending Eun Gye-hoon’s ‘humanism,’ Noh Da-hyun conquers her weaknesses, protecting her feelings and loved ones in the latest episode of Link: Eat, Love, Kill.

Noh Da-hyun worst fears became true as she met Lee Jin-geun after receiving his threatening messages. She witnesses Jin-geun’s shifts into a different person while he suppresses his anger.
He threatens Da-hyun about what she did to him and uses her family to apologize to him. However, Da-hyun recalls how much she suffers and that apologizing can’t make her nightmares and trauma disappear.
On the other hand, Eun Gye-hoon felt Da-hyun’s fear just like what her sister felt twenty years ago. With that, he combs every alley in Jihwa-dong and was able to find her.
Gye-hoon’s protective gesture to Da-hyun threatens Jin-geun and thought that he caused her relationship with Da-hyun to fall apart.
“Just run over that chef with a car.”
With that, he orders Kim Min-cheol to kill Gye-hoon in exchange for not turning him to the police. On the night when Jin-geun wakes up, he was crashed by a taxi that Min-cheol is driving.
Thinking that he was dead, Min-cheol dug his grave and is ready to bury him. Now that he is alive, Jin-geun uses his crimes to blackmail him and do anything he orders.
Furthermore, Min-cheol followed him and tried to kill Gye-hoon. However, he changed his mind in a snap and instead crashed into Da-hyun’s restaurant.
Eventually, Gye-hoon found out that this was Jin-geun’s doing and that he is threatening Min-cheol.
“Why don’t you just come in and eat?… It looks like a mess, but the refrigerator still works.”
After his instructions to Min-cheol, Jin-geun went to Da-hyun’s restaurant and asks if someone was killed or injured. At first, Bok-hee and Chun-ok did not recognize him but they felt the manic aura that he shows.
They then invited him to eat at their restaurant after pushing him away. Bok-hee and Chun-ok confronted him and warned him not to go near Da-hyun again.
Even so, Jin-geun is stern about his words that he loves Da-hyun despite what she did to him. With his arrogance, Bok-hee can’t control his anger and was about to attack him with a hammer.
At the right time, Gye-hoon stops the tense atmosphere and also warned Jin-geun calmly but dauntingly.
“I started cooking to make my mother eat, even if it was just a bite. Then I started to like it.”
Since Jin-geun returns for Da-hyun, her nightmares return, affecting Gye-hoon as well. To divert her attention and keep her busy, they made preparations for their soft opening until morning.
Moreover, Da-hyun was disappointed since Gye-hoon did not cook for her. Nevertheless, after their preparations, he fulfills his promise and made a hearty meal for Da-hyun.
Through food, Gye-hoon opens up again and reveals that he became a chef to make her mother feel better physically and emotionally. Additionally, he confirms that he is starting to fall for Da-hyun just by looking and being near to her.
“How about this then? The guy that I used to like almost got killed because of me. But I had no idea like a fool.”
Despite having a love-hate relationship with Gye-hoon, Da-hyun is sure about her feelings for him. On the other hand, Gye-hoon also slowly came to realize that the heart-pounding he feels is not from Da-hyun but from him.
With Gye-hoon’s act of ‘humanism’ toward Da-hyun, there are times that it confuses her with what it meant or what he feels toward her. She then marks a line between her and Gye-hoon after finding out Min-cheol’s secrets.
She learned that Gye-hoon almost got killed because of her and her feelings for him. Da-hyun also confesses that she liked Gye-hoon but wanted to end it as a way to protect him.
After finding out what Jin-geun did, Da-hyun overcome her fears and fought back. Da-hyun threatens Jin-geun and showed that he can no longer play with her feelings and weaknesses.

From the previous episodes of Link: Eat, Love, Kill, we saw how Noh Da-hyun struggles with her trauma and nightmares from Jin-geun’s attack. However, the recent episode unfolds her character development and that she has what it takes to overcome these.
Fueled with love and anger, Da-hyun was able to strike back even though fear is still present in her. Despite having an imperfect family and life, she draws out strength from her predicaments and gradually helped her to speak for herself.
On the other hand, Lee Eun-jung’s return after her last conversation with Da-hyun surprises us with her next move. Eun-jung exhibits a powerful and vengeful character but pivots as she attempts to attack her brother with a knife.
We can assume that Jin-geun’s manic and dangerous personality sinks into her which pushes her to stop his plans of hurting more people. Now that she is reunited with her brother, let’s hope that she can be one of the keys to putting an end to Jin-geun’s turmoils.
