Madam Jo’s Interview With Kim Jo Yi
Afte Park Seung successfully removed Ra Yi Eon from his position, Kim Jo Yi spends her time with him to make him feel better. They decided to spend their day wandering around Hanyang while conversing.
Furthermore, their date reaches until the skies get dark, and decide to part their ways in front of Jo Yi’s house. However, the two still want to be with each other and stroll around Jo Yi’s neighborhood many times.
Yi Eon then invites Jo Yi over to his house and cooks her noodles for dinner. As Yi Eon prepares their food, Yook Chil and Goo Pal surprise him and became suspicious of why he prepares two bowls of noodles for himself.
Nevertheless, Yook Chil and Goo Pal think that the noodles are for them, taking them from Yi Eon’s hands. Yi Eon returns and apologizes to Jo Yi and suggests spending the night together to avoid being caught.
For all that, Yi Eon’s grandmother caught them right-handed and immediately questions their relationship. Knowing Jo Yi’s bluntness, Yi Eon tries his best to answer Madam Jo’s questions to prevent misunderstandings.
Madam Jo then asks Jo Yi to stay to ask more questions to know more about her life. Jo Yi then talks about her past marriage and bravely shows her personality.
Park Tae Seo’s True Identity
Escaping from the royal inspector’s hands, Park Tae Seo was rescued by Turukson and her mother. He decides to hide and rest at their place since his life is at risk.
Tae Seo is glad to see her mother again, but her denial to receive Tae Seo’s affection is showing. With a heavy heart, she revealed that she switched her true son, Park Do Soo, after finding out that Park Seung despises their child.
After finding out that he is Park Seung’s legitimate son, he left Tail Island to talk with her father and hopes to finally receive fair love. However, Yi Eon saw Tae Seo and immediately take him down before he escapes again.
He was able to calm Tae Seo and find out more about the Crown Prince’s death. Tae Seo also confesses that he did not give the last tonic but Do Soo. He then accepts his and his father’s fate and gives Yi Eon the evidence that can bring Park Seung down.
Putting An End To A Chapter
As unexpected paths open, hopes end in this week’s episodes. Kwang Soon finally reveals to Jo Yi and Bi Ryung that she wants to find her father, who drove her out from Hanyang before.
But before the three of them searches for Kwang Soon’s father, the boil physician, Yook Chil and Goo Pal also unveil that he is already dead. They also told her about her father’s involvement with the Crown Prince’s death that surprises her.
On the other hand, Choi Seung Yul grabs another chance to talk with Jo Yi to confirm her feelings toward Yi Eon. Jo Yi then confidently reassures her childhood best friend that she will have a good relationship with Yi Eon.
With that, Seung Yul bids her farewell and told Jo Yi that he needs to travel for an investigation, where he secretly went to Tail Island and finds Jo Yi’s mother.
Secret Royal Inspector Joy Episodes 13 & 14 Musings
As the series broadcasts its remaining episodes next week, it gives us a glimpse of what will happen. Furthermore, our love and hate relationship with Tae Seo once again complicates our understanding of him.
His heartbreaking relationship with her father aches more in this week’s episodes after his true story was unveiled. We can’t help but sympathize with the series’ antagonist with the pain and sadness he felt after finding out his identity.
Our hopes also came true after Tae Seo finally coordinates with the inspector. We’ve seen his kindness in the previous episodes and let us continue to expect that we will see a deserving ending with his character.
Furthermore, the series also hints at what will Ra Yi Eon and Kim Jo Yi’s relationship end. However, we will see about Madam Jo’s decision to let her grandson marry and find “joy” in his life.
