Shooting Stars Episode 10 Highlights
Tae-Sung’s Pretentious Helper
When Tae-Sung’s mother visited him in his apartment, she saw his helper and grabs her hair. Shi-woo said there was something fishy about that helper because she saw her once when she was buying her jewelry.
Han-Byeol and Yoo-Sung got curious about the woman and start investigating her whereabouts. They even went to the address of the woman only to find out that she doesn’t live there anymore.
Later on, Yoo-Sung discovers that the woman is a rich lady who owns almost all the apartments in Gangnam. She disguises herself as Tae-Sung’s helper because she got mad at him and wanted to get revenge.
Three years before, the woman is sending luxurious gifts to Tae-Sung but he always rejects them. The woman is obsessed with giving out gifts and calling them “special”.
However, Tae-Sung is different from the others that’s why she also comments bad things online about Tae-Sung to ruin his reputation.
Tae-Sung remains good to her even though her dishes are always salty. He also worries because she might be suffering from dementia, but the woman intentionally makes her dishes salty. After that, the woman went to Tae-Sung and said her goodbyes.
The Gift
On the other hand, Han-Byeol also finds the woman very suspicious. There was once a time when the woman saw her necklace (which Tae-Sung gave), and her aura changed.
The woman likes owning limited edition shoes, bags, and jewelry. The necklace that Han-Byeol got from Tae-Sung is one expensive piece of jewelry that the woman also got.
That’s why to make Han-Byeol scared, the woman sent the same necklace to the whole PR team and noted that the necklaces are all from Han-Byeol.
Ho-Young’s Confession
Meanwhile, amidst Yoo-Sung’s business and investigation of the woman, he still accepts Ho-Young’s offer to have dinner with her. Ho-Young is a bit tense when talking to him because she likes him.
Yoo-Sung likes to pat Ho-Young’s head but this time she said that he should not do that because she feels butterflies in her tummy. After a while, she confesses to Yoo-Sung her feelings.
Ending the episode, there’s a new man that has a rage toward Tae-Sung. He leaks information to destroy his good image.
Shooting Stars Episode 10 Musings
Well of course, just like in other dramas, the couple faces new challenges after they got together. The helper of Tae-Sung who is a rich woman chipped in a faint thrill to the story.
However, her reason for getting revenge on Tae-Sung is quite dense. She pretended to be a helper and make salty dishes for Tae-Sung just because he doesn’t accept her expensive gifts? It just does not add up to the perky vibe of the series.
Also, Tae-Sung’s issue with her mother is not new, that’s why we’re hoping that the plot could expound on it in the next episodes.
Meanwhile, Ho-Young and Yoo-Sung’s relationship is just cute. There’s nothing wrong with girls confessing their feelings first to the guy that they like.
Ho-Young’s strength in confessing is a commendable act of a mature woman. We’re anticipating that Yoo-Sung feels the same.
Lastly, there’s a new character that has a fit of deep anger toward Tae-Sung, and just like the helper, he has also evil intentions towards Tae-sung.
