Taxi Driver 2

Taxi Driver 2 Episodes 11 and 12 Highlights

Previously in Taxi Driver 2, Ha-jun makes a move to eliminate Do-ki by making the high-ranking police officer Park Jong-hwan plant an explosive on his taxi.

Officer Park also cleaned up the mess and went to Ha-jun’s request of checking the guests who came to Do-ki’s funeral.

“Someone clearly hates our guts, and we should know who that is.”

Thankfully, he survives the ordeal. Thus, they fake his death so they can investigate the person who obviously harbors resentment toward their team.

Meanwhile, Ha-jun is asked by the Bishop, the supreme leader of the group he belongs to through Officer Park to focus on his job. Thus, he resigns as a taxi driver.

His resignation sparks realization in Chief Jang that the person they were looking for is in fact him and that they were purposely approached.

Proceeding to check on suspicious people at the staged funeral of Do-ki, they were led to the high-end Gangnam club, Black Sun where the men they identified to have sneaked out some things from the funeral works.

Mission Enter Black Sun proceeds with Do-ki and the crew. However, their attempt did not get them useful information. It also leads to Do-ki being held by the police after tipping that minors are inside the club.

Obviously having a friendly connection to the police officers, Do-ki confronts a report that he molested a woman.

Chief Jang, on the other hand, learns the explosive planted on Do-ki’s taxi came from the police.

“It’s possible that what we want to find out and Mr. Kim’s mission is one and the same.”

Finding another way to enter Black Sun, Do-ki is hired as one of the security team members.

From there, they got an overview of the luxurious club’s dealing. Liked by one of the club VVIPs, he almost met Ha-jun who is also connected to the same VVIP through his group’s “bishop”.

When he was asked to help make a delivery, he drove the car with an intoxicated lady. Sensing they were being tailed by Reporter Kim, a former popular reporter he recently saved, he learned why he is relentlessly pursuing Black Sun.

It turns out that Reporter Kim has a friend who used to be a police officer at the nearby police station handling Black Sun’s law jurisdiction. He tipped him of Black Sun’s drug dealings and it caused his life, unfortunately. His death though was staged as a suicide.

Leaving Team Rainbow’s revenge service’s contact information, he enters an agreement with Do-ki and the team.
