Picking up another interesting case, Taxi Driver has been settling well to the viewers’ system with its engrossing drive!
The recent episodes of SBS network’s newest offering took us to an annoying high and serves-you-right conclusion. Our newest team of justice servers straightened up school bullies, and it was definitely a rewarding experience.
Taxi Driver narrates the story of a cryptic taxi company that provides private revenge for unfair victims who are not protected by the law. The team pursues the perpetrators with its justice-seeking team working together to serve rightful punishments.
Neatly executed, feeling gravitated to support the Rainbow Taxi team’s cause is expected. It further attests to its soaring viewership ratings in the last back-to-back episodes. Notching 9.8, 13.6, 11.6, and 15.6; the latter score even achieved the top spot on all television shows on April 17.

Taxi Driver Episodes 3 & 4 Quick Recap
How To Deal with School Bullies?
A persistent nagging concern, episodes 3 and 4 of Taxi Driver delves on the vengeance help raised by a high school boy suffering in the hands of school bullies. Living with his mother who has a hearing impairment, he grieves on his harrowing situation out of his love for his mom.
Pushed to the edge, he found the contact information of Rainbow Deluxe Taxi Company while surfing the internet. From there, Kim Do-ki (Lee Je Hoon) and the team executed how to outsmart the hopeless school bullies. Do-ki assumes the role of a temporary teacher to get closer to the trio of student baddies.
By threatening them with his knowledge that the three smoke marijuana, he made them move recklessly culminating in them hiring thugs to beat Do-ki. A not so good idea since our hero can pulverize quite a few singlehandedly.
Completely taming the bullies, Do-ki set up a reborn ceremony for the leader of the gang. He also made sure that he will pay for all the pain he caused in the past. Teaching the idea of remorse, the student who was bullied gets an inspiration to toughen up for his mom.
Taxi Driver Episodes 3 & 4 Musings
“It may be just a small part of their teenage years, but to others, it may be a life or death situation.”
Clearly displaying a picture of shameless student oppressors, I felt disheartened by this seemingly endless cycle of failing to defeat this issue. How to strengthen the policy involving school bullying and where the gap lies really has to enter a strict monitoring phase.
These episodes from Taxi Driver gave us a clear presentation of a failure in the system. Likewise, it also emphasized how youth can get used to being bad without proper guidance and with their own volition.
While the premise of the series takes a quasi-good-prevails-evil mood, its intention from the onset defies the role of real crime solvers. That’s where Esom’s character, Kang Ha Na, will blend in the story. She is tracking a case linked to the Rainbow Deluxe Taxi company team.
A glimpse from Do-ki’s past is an apparent teaser to the overview of the main conflict. Entangling it to Jang Sung Chul and Baek Su Mi’s partnership that could go awry at any minute, Taxi Driver aims to step on the gas without hitting the break.
