Taxi Driver Episodes 9 & 10 Highlights

Fortunately, Baek Sung-mi and her lackey arrive at Jang Sung-chul’s house preventing the escaped Jo Do-chul to fatally harm him. However, he had to recuperate at the hospital because he was stabbed by the lunatic.

After getting a lead from her superior, Prosecutor Kang’s suspicion about Do-ki is heightened that she decides to probe further. She tails on one of the members but faces a dead end because her intention was picked on earlier by Kyung-koo.

At the fading minutes of episode 10 though, she is seen stalking Do-ki who parked his taxi to its usual spot.

Madame Lim’s Voice Phishing + Illegal Gambling

When Park Jin-eon inadvertently let himself be scammed, the team agrees to work together, unearthing there’s more to the con artist pretending to be prosecutors. Using a restaurant as a business front, it is a thriving gambling den at night. It has also earned immense profit from voice phishing. Through Go-eun’s hacking skills, she was able to shut down the voice phishing operation.

Setting everything in motion, the team only needs the password to the account holding the money Madam Lim got from her unlawful businesses. Do-ki works his incognito magic by luring Madam Lim with fake romance. With that, they were able to retrieve the sequestered money of the people they conned.

Taxi Driver Episodes 9 & 10 Musings

I think Lee Je Hoon is really enjoying his character in Taxi Driver as it is mutually felt by the viewers. From nerdy teacher to submissive employee and unfazed gangster; he can rock it all.

Moving to the culminating moment of the series, the shaky alliance of Jang Sung-chul and Baek Sung-mi seems to be the projected beginning of the major conflict of the series. Withholding details from Sung-chul because of her other secret dealings, their relationship is bound to meet an impasse.

Needing deciding pieces of evidence, Prosecutor Kang is also getting closer to unlock the puzzling cases that have bee bothering her. Confronting Do-ki is expected, along with her understanding of how the team’s valiant and meaningful activities still violate laws.
