October 2022 K-Movies On Viu

All streaming from October 7, four new enthralling films can be watched on Viu.

Based on a true story, Dark Figure of Crime is a critically acclaimed and award-winning film that revolves around a serial killer, Kang Tae-oh (Ju Ji Hoon), who suddenly confesses his crimes while he’s in prison.

Police detective Kim Hyung-min (Kim Yoon Seok) interviews Tae-oh, but cannot tell if he is a fantasist, or a serial killer playing a game with a goal that Hyung-min has yet to figure out.

While others are skeptical of Tae-oh’s confession, police detective Kim Hyung-min (Kim Yoon-seok) trusts his intuition and believes Tae-oh, and sets out to find the murdered victims without knowledge of their identities.

In Dejavu, Ji-min (Nam Gyu Ri) becomes an accomplice in a hit-and-run accident when her fiance Woo-Jin (Lee Gyu Han) hits a woman, and they flee from the scene of the crime.

Since then, Ji-min is haunted by visions of the dead woman appearing in front of her and eventually reports the accident, speaking to Detective In-tae (Lee Chun Hee) about it.

He informs her that there were no reported fatal accidents. Detective In-tae begins shadowing her, and she starts confusing fantasy with reality.

Next, Watching is a Korean horror-thriller fim about Young-woo (Kang Ye-won), a workaholic and career-oriented woman who gets kidnapped by security guard Joon-ho (Lee Hak-joo). Young-woo struggles to escape from the deranged Joon-ho who is obsessed with voyeurism, forcing her to watch as he tortures her co-workers.

Lastly, adapted from the Japanese novel The Hunter, Howling stars the critically acclaimed actor Song Kang Ho as veteran detective Sang-gil, and Lee Na Young as rookie office Cha Eun-young.

Even as Eun-young’s lack of experience interferes with Sang-gil’s goals of getting a promotion, the pair are forced to work together to investigate a series of killings that seem to be carried out by a mysterious wolfdog. The duo races against time as more people get bitten to death.
