Going full force to its promotion, Lovers of the Red Sky has certainly got our attention!
Group posters of Kim Yoo Jung, Ahn Hyo Seop, Gong Myung, and Kwak Si Yang have been released.
Lovers of the Red Sky tells the story of Hong Cheon Gi (Kim Yoo Jung), an artist with extraordinary aesthetic insight and skills who became the first female painter of the Dohwaseo (Korean Royal Academy of Painting).
During her stay in the palace, she gets embroiled in a love triangle with Ha Ram (Ahn Hyo Seop), an officer well-versed in astronomy and meteorology who lost his sight in a childhood accident, and the Grand Prince Anpyeong (Gong Myung) who is an art enthusiast.
The drama is set in the fictional era of “Dan Dynasty” and will be helmed by director Jang Tae Yu of Hyena, My Love From The Star and Tree With Deep Roots fame. Notably, it is a drama adaptation of the novel of the same name by Jung Eun Gwol, the author of The Moon Embracing the Sun and Sungkyunkwan Scandal.

Genius Painter Hong Cheon Gi
Playing the titular role, Kim Yoo Jung radiantly characterizes Hong Cheon Gi, a genius painter.
