Casino, a Disney+ original series, heightens the expectations for its superb casting!
Choi Min-Sik, Son Suk Ku, Lee Dong Hwi, and Heo Sung Tae are confirmed as the lead cast of the series.
Casino is an intense story about a man who became the king of the casino. However, after a series of twists and turns, he returns to the game at the risk of survival and life after losing everything.
In the series, one of the main stars is Choi Min-Sik, Korea’s representative actor, who has won the hearts of audiences of all ages with roles in films such as Old Boy, I Saw the Devil, and The New World. He is taking on a challenge on the small screen for the first time in 26 years.
Next, Son Suk Ku, a versatile actor from the dramas My Liberation Notes, Be Melodramatic, and D.P. joins the seasoned actor. Besides that, he also took on the challenge of directing the short film Unframed.
Then, Lee Dong Hwi, who has previously appeared in New Year Blues, The Call, Reply 1988 and more, will join the cast.
Lastly, Heo Sung Tae of Insider, Bloody Heart and Squid Game fame adds his flair to the series.
Director Kang Yun Seong of the film Crime City, who recorded 6.88 million viewers will direct the upcoming series. He won the New Director Award at the 54th Baeksang Arts Awards and the 23rd Chunsa Film Festival.

Disney+’s original series “Casino” is scheduled to be released worldwide through Disney+ in the second half of 2022.
