“A Killer Paradox” Starring Choi Woo Shik and Son Suk Ku Amuses and Intrigues With Interesting Premise

A Killer Paradox

In this new Netflix series, a man accidentally murders a serial killer.

Scheduled to launch on February 9, A Killer Paradox trailer gives a glimpse into the story of a regular guy who somehow turns into a serial killer, all while being pursued by a detective intent on capturing him.

The new Netflix series is top-billed by Choi Woo Shik (Our Beloved Summer, Parasite), Son Suk Ku (D.P., My Liberation Notes), and Lee Hee Jun (Miss Baek, Mouse) who are all well-versed in the thriller genre.

In the series, Choi Woo Shik plays Lee Tang, a typical university student, delivering a chilling performance as he evolves from an ordinary man into a murderer. Son takes on the role of Jang Nan-gam, a relentless detective with sharp intuition, creating a character who faces internal conflict while persistently pursuing Lee Tang.

Renowned director Lee Chang-hee (Hell is Other People, The Vanished) worked with writer Kim Da-min, winner of the 2019 Gyeonggi Scenario Planning and Development Feature Category, to turn the webtoon into a riveting K-thriller.

Accordingly, the released two teaser posters steal attention. After an accidental murder, Lee Tang realizes that the person he killed was a vicious criminal. Whether it is a coincidence or a special ability, he looks perplexed and lost at the surprising reality that befell him.

Meanwhile, Nan-gam shows a curious look as a detective and blows a big bubblegum making him even more enigmatic.

A Killer Paradox premieres February 9, only on Netflix.
