“Behind Your Touch” Previews Lively Cast Interaction Captured From First Script Reading

Behind Your Touch

The script reading for the JTBC drama Behind Your Touch has been completed.

Behind Your Touch explores a sincere story about a genuine veterinarian who can see the past of animals and people thanks to her psychometry ability. A detective tangles his fate with hers as they solve trivial life-related incidents among peaceful and naive but somehow suspicious villagers of Mujin. Thereafter, they are swept away by a serial murder case and cooperate to decode the town’s cryptic crimes.

Billed as hip and comic investigation drama with heart-fluttering moments for romantic story cravers, the series will be broadcast for the first time on August 12.

The series reunites Han Ji Min with director Kim Suk-yoon (Law School) and writer Lee Nam-kyu (Daily Dose of Sunshine) since working together in The Light In Your Eyes. Director Kim also marks another work with Lee Min Ki after My Liberation Notes. The creative team is also behind the movie franchise Detective K and dramas Awl, Listen To Love, Living Among The Rich and Old Miss Diary.

The Main Leads

Bong Ye-bun, a veterinarian who somehow acquired psychometry powers, is played by Han Ji Min. Han Ji Min brought laughter by skillfully portraying the dynamic change of Ye-bun, who works with a passionate detective in solving a mystery case.

Lee Min Ki transforms into Moon Mun-yeol, a hot-blooded detective with an extraordinary obsession with the investigation. Mun-yeol, who was relegated from Gwangsu University to a rural village with no crime, struggles to return to Seoul.

Lee maximizes the charm of Mun-Yeol, who gets swept up in a serial murder case with Ye-boon who has a novel ability.

In particular, the lead pairing’s evident chemistry generated laughter burst amplifying expectations.

Kim Seon-woo, who has an angelic appearance and personality, is portrayed by Suho, a member of the group EXO. One day, Seon-woo suddenly comes down to Mujin and starts working at a convenience store.

With a kind smile, he shakes Ye-bun’s heart at once. Suho perfectly synchronizes with the character and doubles the mysterious aspect of Seon-woo, who is kind with unfathomable thoughts that infuses excitement and tension at the same time.

The Supporting Cast

The people of Mujin, who are naive but somehow suspicious and have strong personalities will be characterized by acting veterans who will be responsible for the exceptional coordination of comedy and thriller.

Joo Min Kyung breathes life into Bae Ok-hee, the person with the strongest personal connections in Mujin. Ok-hee is smart but clumsy. She is a loyal friend to Ye-bun.

Next, Kim Hee Won plays the cheerful Won Jong-mook, the head of the Mujin Police Station who hopes that “crime-free Mujin” will flow safely.

Bringing laughter as Jung Hyeon-ok, an uptight woman fighting against “first love” is Park Sung Yeon. Although she was late, she aspires to claim romance with Jong-mook.

Bae Deok-hee, who helps Mun-yeol, who is having a hard time because of Mujin people is played by Jo Min-guk.

Behind Your Touch will be broadcast for the first time at 10:30 pm on August 12 on JTBC following King the Land.
