Flex X Cop follows the story of a chaebol detective who catches criminals.
Joining the lineage of SBS Friday-Saturday heroes, Ahn Bo Hyun portrays Jin Yi-soo a parachute detective and a third-generation childish chaebol who loves having fun.
Jin Yi-soo is a chaebol who catches criminals by mobilizing not only the enormous wealth and connections of his chaebol family but also his brilliant brain power and various skills he acquired from his numerous activities.
SBS has built a trustworthy reputation in its dramas with humorous character plays and exciting narratives of good and punishment such as The Fiery Priest, One Dollar Lawyer, Taxi Driver, and One The Woman.
This is a new work from writer Kim Bada, who penned My Name, and director Kim Jae-hong, who co-directed Through The Darkness and Revenant, will join forces to create a comical action investigation full of wit and tension.
Previously, two teaser posters were unveiled showing off charming Ahn Bo Hyun and basic tools belonging to detectives. Subsequently, more details are unveiled about the main leads in latest update.
Bickering Detectives
In the released stills, Ahn Bo Hyun and Park Ji Hyun appear to be growling from the beginning, hinting that their future joint investigation will not be smooth sailing.
First, Ahn Bo-hyun appears at the powerful team 1 office with his styled hair and neatly angled uniform and immediately catches everyone’s attention.
On the other hand, Park Ji Hyun, who has no time to worry about her appearance because she is so focused on the investigation, looks at him with disapproving eyes, creating tension.
Accordingly, attention is being paid to how their cooperation will work in Flex X Cop.
Meanwhile, the chemistry between Ahn Bo-hyun and Park Ji-hyun, who are already fully immersed in their characters and showing perfect chemistry, is raising expectations.
