Colluding for a risky retribution goal the lead pairing of Insider is all set and ready to sail!
Kang Ha Neul and Lee Yoo Young gear up to meet viewers in an intense action series in the first half of 2022 on JTBC.
To be helmed by PD Min Yeon Heong of Missing: The Other Side fame, Insider will be produced by ACE Factory which worked on the acclaimed series, Stranger, When The Weather Is Fine and Confession. Writer Moon Man-se (Priest) is tasked to write the screenplay.
Insider chronicles the story of judicial trainee Kim Yo-han, to be portrayed by Kang Ha Neul. He confronts a painstaking abyss after an undercover investigation that stole the promising life he was set to have.
His excruciating desire for revenge would spin intensely fought mind games. Kim Yo-han lived an honest and sincere life, bravely stepped forward for justice, but what awaits him is the harsh reality where only the logic of power dominates.
In a prison abandoned by the world, he begins a survival quest for revenge. With a sharp mind, prudence to think ahead, the tenacity that does not break in any crisis, and a unique expressionless face, he jumps into a perilous gamble, risking his life.
Lee Yoo Young’s Small Screen Return
Joining him in his quest is Oh Soo-yeon, played by Lee Yoo Young. A businesswoman who hides a sharp knife in her soft smile, she subdues opponents with her beauty as a gun and her brain as a sword.
Through mobilizing money and personal connections, she has an influential power to control. With keen eyes that can read through people, she recognized at a glance Yo-han’s extraordinary character. Thereafter, she offers help to achieve his goal.
A cut different from her previous projects, viewers should anticipate Lee’s immersion in her role. She happily invites fans to look forward to the series.
