Opening a new year with an exciting story, Park Min Young and Na In Woo star in tvN’s Monday-Tuesday series on the first day of January 2024.
Joining them are talented actors Lee Yi Kyung, Song Ha Yoon, Lee Gi Kwang and Gong Min Jung.
Marry My Husband (내남편과 결혼해줘) is about a woman who was murdered after witnessing her husband’s affair with her best friend. She returns to the past 10 years ago and gets a chance to redo her life. It aims for a story of retribution where the female lead claims back her destiny.
Based on the popular web novel of the same name, the series will be adapted to drama by writer Shin Yu-dam of the drama Awaken, and directed by Park Won-guk of Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist, Special Labor Inspector Mr. Jo and Emperor: The Owner of the Mask fame.
Park Min Young (Love In Contract, Forecasting Love and Weather) plays the role of Kang Ji-won, who was murdered by her husband and best friend and returned 10 years ago to start a new life.
Kang Ji-won is a character who makes a 180-degree turn in her attitude toward life. She is accustomed to enduring but she goes on a mission to change her destiny. Attention is being paid to how Kang Ji-won, who has been given the opportunity to live her new life, will fight against her gutter-like fate, and how Park Min Young will delicately depict the process.
Na In Woo (Jinxed At First, Clean Up) plays the role of Yoo Ji-hyuk, who has perfect beauty, intelligence, and physique. He is able to do whatever he sets his mind to, but he often becomes irritable in front of his crush, Kang Ji-won. He is expected to become her biggest helper.
Lee Yi Kyung (Curtain Call) plays the role of Park Min-hwan, Kang Ji-won’s ex-husband. He is an egoist who only cares about himself the most in the world, and thinks of his wife as a servant. He plans to mark a milestone in the lineage of problematic husband characters who causes anger with a single word.
Song Ha Yoon (Oh Young Sim, Devilish Charm) plays the role of Kang Ji-won’s best friend Jung Su-min, heralding the birth of a new villain. She has a twisted inner self that is the complete opposite of her seemingly innocent exterior. She also has immeasurable greed beneath a weak smile.
Baek Eun-ho, a handsome and popular chef to be played by Lee Gi Kwang, is a person from the past of Kang Ji-won and Jung Su-min (played by Song Ha-yoon). He is a pure man who cherishes his first love, Ji-won, from high school.
Gong Min Jung plays the role of Yang Joo-ran, Kang Ji-won’s co-worker, adding realism to the play. She is a person who always loses, both at work and at home. Her life changes when she meets Kang Ji-won for the second time in her life.
Marry My Husband will be broadcast for the first time on January 1, 2024 at 8:50 PM on tvN.
