Joo Won and Lee Joo Woo are captured in a not-so-friendly vibe while working together in latest teasers of Stealer: The Treasure Keeper.
Stealer The Treasure Keeper is a caper comic action series in which a mysterious cultural property thief and an unofficial cultural property recovery team unite against people who cannot be judged by the law.
Joo Won takes on the role of Hwang Dae-myung, a civil servant who goes to work at the Cultural Heritage Administration during the day, but at night, he transforms into a mysterious thief who steals cultural assets by visiting the trafficking site of cultural assets.
Joining the actor in the lead cast is Lee Joo Woo who plays the role of Choi Min-woo, an elite police officer full of passion and justice.
In the drama, Joo Won portrays Hwang Dae-myung, a “salary lupin”. He is someone who gets a monthly salary without working properly. His other life is as a cultural property thief who goes by the name of Skunk.
In contrast, Inspector Choi Min-woo, played by Lee Joo Woo is an elite who graduated from the police academy at the top of her class. She is often branded as a troublemaker because of her excessive passion.
She gets assigned to a team dedicated to cultural assets, which is basically a collection of police officers who have nowhere to go.
The latest filming stills unveiled show tension between Dae-myung and Min-woo. As they work together for the “cultural assets”, their cooperation won’t smoothly start.
Hwang Dae-myung, who appeared in front of Choi Min-woo, who is enthusiastic about the task she was given for the first time after being appointed to the cultural heritage task force, sparks interest with his uncooperative attitude, such as taking a nap outside the office.
Giving a night before the storm vibe, the two who have not yet grasped each other’s reality confront a mountain of cultural properties to be recovered. Evidently, Min-woo who wil be riding on the same boat is not happy.
Look forward to their first mission as they take different approaches when Stealer: The Treasure Keeper premieres on April 12.
