Bad Prosecutor Episode 8 Highlights
Arresting Prosecutor Kim, Jin Jung moves to probe into the man pulling the strings behind his seniors in the prosecutors’ office.
Accordingly, the capture of Prosecutor Kim leads to Do-hwan’s sticky situation.
He was also questioned by a separate team but he vehemently denies not knowing about Prosecutor Kim’s actions.
“It was a necessary evil to protect the organization.”
Jin Jung and friends plus A-ra arrive at the conclusion that Tae Hyung-wook, the secretary of Kangsan Law Firm fits the person behind Prosecutor Lee and Jung’s attacks. Not flinching when Jung suddenly gives her an attack affirms his suspicion.
A-ra’s impeccable memory secured the plate number of the culprit’s vehicle and sealed their suspicion after getting concrete evidence. Her alibi was also proven to be fabricated.
Working on the clues, Jin Jung brings A-ra to his mother’s restaurant when he was summoned to do errands and to eat. Adorably, the usually stubborn prosecutor just follows his mom’s orders.
Meanwhile, Do-hwan who met Seo Ji-han discovers a trump card he can use. Confirming his suspicion, he scored a meeting with CEO Seo.
Prosecutor Park visits Prosecutor Kim to tell him that the evidence they are looking which Prosecutor Lee previously had been in his possession. However, CEO Seo refuses to speak with Prosecutor Kim anymore.
Needing decisive evidence to lure the villain, Jung discovers the yellow envelope mentioned by Prosecutor Lee’s daughter. In the process of protecting him, Prosecutor Park claims not knowing anything.
Thus, Jung tricks him and takes the evidence to lure Secretary Tae. They engage in a brawl that led them to the rooftop. Stabbing Jung with her signature drug tranquilizer, the bad prosecutor aimlessly wields his wooden sword.
Bad Prosecutor Episode 8 Musings
Three-quarters done solving the puzzle pieces, Bad Prosecutor continues to uncover its mission in an engaging right direction.
Always bringing in ample humor, the scene introducing Jin Jung’s friends was a breezy moment. And so is Jung’s adorable submissiveness to his mother.
We can understand Prosecutor Park’s intention not to loop Jung into the case that he is very well aware of. That’s because his probing before led him to lose his family and even career power.
Knowing Jin Jung, as her mother attests, he won’t stop until he gets to the bottom of the case. Curiously, there’s a lacking conviction on the presentation of CEO Seo as the ultimate villain. It would be nice if the plot can expound on why he holds that much power to higher-ups in the prosecutors’ office.
What’s notable in the series is the well-blended action, comedy and drama so far presented. Thus, it does not yield annoying and circling development in the hero’s goal of resolving the clearly presented conflict.
Often crime dramas involving prosecutors show antagonists to be invincible and give the protagonists their shining moments at the finale week.
So, Bad Prosecutor is really doing its best in presenting its materials by evenly depicting the merits and drawbacks of the opposing camps.
