Ghost Doctor Episode 6 Key Moments

Who broke the deal first? You said we should both agree!

While tending to a patient in the ER, Seung Tak touches the ghost of Young Min in order for him to handle the patient’s hysterical relative.

As the patient’s condition becomes critical, Young Min directs Intern Oh to assist the patient’s relative outside.

Seung Tak then successfully saved another patient once again. However, someone called to report that the husband of the patient’s relative was on his way to the ICU with the intention of killing both the patient and the doctor.

Leaping out of Seung Tak’s body, the irate husband immediately hits Seung Tak in the face.

Implying that their deal is off, Seung Tak shrugs off his lab coat and marches away from Young Min.

Following Seung Tak’s lead, Young Min persuades him that their agreement is intact; he indicates that both sides should agree on whether the deal is still viable or not.

Subsequently, Seung Tak hears wonderful news that the young patient who begs for surgery to save his life is finally receiving one after Dr. An agrees to lead the procedure.

“From what I remember, she was brave and couldn’t stand injustice, so she always stepped in.”

Tricking Dr. An that something is wrong and intentionally cutting him off during a phone call, Seung Tak approaches the guards and creates a diversion for Dr. Jang to see the Chairman with her own eyes.

Consequently, Se Jin shows to Seung Tak the reason why Young Min left a patient urgently the moment before his accident happened. It was her text message to him that she wanted to meet with him. When in fact, she never sent the message to Young Min.

In response to her question about why Seung Tak did not speak up even though he was aware of something, he tells her that he did not want to become involved in potentially dangerous situations. He also tells her that while he lacks proof, he does have a witness.

Se Jin supervises the patient from now on, who will be a witness in the Chairman and Young Min’s case.

Asking Young Min whether he is certain he is dragging Se Jin into the matter, Young Min responds to Seung Tak that he wanted to do so in a less harmful manner. Additionally, he believes Se Jin because he recalls how she could not abide injustice and constantly interceded.

“In this 12-hour operation, the easiest part is dissecting the adhesion. How can a surgeon who can’t do that do the other stages that are even harder?”

After prepping for the procedure and changing into scrubs, Young Min is on his way to the OR when he passes by Se Jin, while Seung Tak is already waiting for him in the operating room.

Seung Tak was ready to enter the OR when he was stopped by an invisible wall, indicating that his body had been transferred.

Searching for the veteran ghost, he seeks his help in moving his body in order for him to enter the OR.

Finally, he makes it inside the surgery of the young patient, although a bit late. He takes over the surgery after Dr. An was unable to complete the first stage of the 12-hour operation.

Ghost Doctor Episode 6 Musings

Ghost Doctor episode 6 highlights Young Min’s difficult choice as a doctor and as a human being. Of course, as a doctor, he must accept the motorbike rider’s plea for help in preserving his life.

However, he would have a tough time accepting assistance from someone who intentionally caused the car accident.

Among their agreements are for Dr. An to scrub into the little child’s procedure, for Seung Tak to participate, and for young Min to handle the rest. However, in this episode, they came dangerously close to losing the patient because Young Min’s body was relocated, preventing him from entering the operating room.

Fortunately, ghost Young Min obtains aid from a veteran ghost, which enables him to enter the operating room and even lead the surgery Dr. An is performing.

Furthermore, Se Jin receives the heartbreaking news that Young Min has only one month to live. We are led to believe that Young Min is aware that he has a certain amount of time left to live, which is why he decides to assist Seung Tak in possessing him in order to save the patients’ lives.
