Imitation Episode 6 Key Moments
“We can’t unsee what we saw.”
Caught in an awkward situation, Ri-a disregards Ryeok’s status and sent him back to the dorm. Huddling for the baffling moment of Maha being visited by Ryeok, the two made sure the message of how scary Shax’s fans reaches Maha.
Ri-a demands Maha to change her phone number to stop being in contact with Ryeok, but Hyun-ji tries to reason out that Maha does not need to be pushed since she knows what to do best.
The next day, Ji-hak gives valuable advice to sort what the girls are going through by staying in one team and trusting each other. He also opens up about a sitcom audition that ends up with Maha.
“I like Kwon Ryeok.”
After being stuck in a reality show in the wilderness, Ryeok bombards Maha with messages unaware that she already bought a new phone and has a new number. On her way to the audition for the sitcom, she bumps with La Rima. Finding it hard to break the sudden chat, Maha clears the misunderstanding and confesses how La Rima is her role model.
Surprised to hear the words, La Rima reveals her real reason for talking to her to warn her that she likes Ryeok. Unknown to Maha, the last time La Rima had a chat with Ryeok, he said it straight to her face how Maha is far different from her.
Meanwhile, Yu-jin prepares to go for a minor role film audition which already confirmed Ryeok as the lead actor. Later, Ryeok also learned that Hyuk and Do-jin will be appearing in a sitcom with Maha.
“You took my side, right?”
Learning about Maha’s role in the sitcom, Ryeok sneaks out and uses Hyeok and Do-jin in case their leader rounds for dorm attendance. At that same time, Hyun-ji sent Yu-jin a message to pick up Maha who is still practicing at the dance studio.
Witnessing Maha and Yu-jin’s cheerful chat, Ryeok makes his presence known and annoyance to why the three of them are in that situation. To avoid the boys getting to each other’s nerves, Maha decides to go with Ryeok and apologizes to Yu-jin.
Inside the car, Maha listens to Ryeok’s response of missing her when she asked why he was there. Unknown to him, their dorm is in chaos since Jae-woo caught up with his going out. Ryeok figures out that Maha has a new number so he asks her to save it to his phone.

Meeting again at the filming site, Ryeok and Yu-jin appear in complex action scenes for the film. Tea Party visits the filming site to support Yujin. When Ryeok sees Maha in the scene, he gets distracted which unfortunately results in a car accident.
Imitation Episode 6 Musings
We really have to give A+ for Yu-jin’s effort. He has already secured a place in our hearts for one of our favorite second-lead syndrome this year. For an acting novice, Yunho has really owned the challenge to give his best to his first love.
While Yu-jin’s character development is progressing to drive empathy, La Rima’s route is honestly functioning like a filler to the plot flow.
Eun-jo’s appearance and his back story aligning with Ryeok’s current love predicament hints at how SHAX would really emerge as a team. Jae-woo serving as the leader who reports to the bad CEO of their agency feels a capslock bad news. We know his brewing trouble to Ji-hak out of him. Getting a dose of his own medicine would be a fitting ending for him.
This episode is like an overview of future conflicts to happen. Albeit needed, we can only settle if the romance will be well-placed. It’s apparent that Eyeok’s accident would propel Maha to be true to what she really feels. Denouncing her initial promise to Hyun-ji and Ri-a of staying away from the man her heart yearns for inevitably will be broken.
Will Ryeok able to protect her from his evil CEO and SHAX’s obsessive fans if that happens?
