Little Women Episode 10 & 11 Highlights
After helping Won Sang-woo escapes the asylum, he escapes the safehouse and meets Jae-sang who murders him remorselessly.
At night, In-joo and Do-il sneak into Hyo-rin’s room and they find a way to rescue In-hye.
Proceeding with their plans to leave the chaotic world of the adults around them, In-hye and Hyo-rin catch the train to Fukuoka.
In-joo visits Sang-ah and gives the letter left by Hyo-rin. The latter expressed her desire to live the life she wants.
“I knew why you married me. You know I would die for you anytime without hesitation. I’ll get going now.”
Making a move to trap Do-il; Jae-sang orders Secretary Go to make the necessary move by bringing in his mother. Suggesting the need for a signed POA from In-joo to get the money, he also gives her last-minute instruction which caused Do-il’s father’s truck to explode and his body to get burned.
But it turns out that Do-il secretly sent the messages that he’s being followed except for In-joo who they need to make their plan work.
On the night of Jae-sang’s grand campaign, In-kyung makes a move to expose the Mayoral candidate’s encounter with his brother-in-law. Apparently, she receives an email from Sang-woo with the video footage of Jae-sang killing him.
At intervals, she discloses the cards she has. Before the announcement of the election winner, Jae-sang takes his life and the blue orchid is found clutched by his palm.
At that same moment of the breaking news revealing Jae-sang’s death, In-kyung is about to go on air for more of her evidence presentation.
Back at the safehouse, In-joo receives a call from Sang-ah who was holding back her rage. She warns In-joo of looming trouble. It sure is digital since right before her very eyes the 70 billion won she’s been monitoring online suddenly disappeared.
“You’ll suffer the pain that is worth 70 billion won.”
In the aftermath of Jae-sang’s sacrifice, Sang-ah made sure to go to for a noble purpose for Jeongran Society.
She also makes a move and sends In-joo to jail for fund embezzlement. Through Reporter Ma-ri, she also begins damaging the reputation of In-kyung.
After a cold verbal spat with Ma-ri, In-kyung was also taken by mysterious men. Sang-ah visits In-joo to relay her plans of killing her family.
It turns out that Principal Jang took In-kyung to his school. He joins hands with her as he is frustrated of knowing General Won’s son was killed by Park Jae-sang and how the initial vision of Jeongran Society deviated.
In-kyung returns to guest at HTN primetime news and brings Principal Jang who was also appointed previously by Sang-ah as director of Jeongran Foundation.
“Your Honor, please punish me and those responsible for creating that dirty money.”
On In-joo’s last trial day, Choi Do-il testifies to every truth in the money laundering process making Sang-ah smile. But on the counter questioning, he also makes a bold statement that In-joo is not aware that the lost money is transferred to one of Sang-ah’s accounts. Do-il’s statement gives a bright prospect to the case.
In her last appeal statement, In-joo confessed to the greed she felt when she stumbled on a big sum of money. Seeking consideration for her case, she implored the judge to rule the rightful punishment but asked for the people involved to be punished as well.
Just then, Hwa-young appears at the court surprising everyone who knows her.
Little Women Episode 10 & 11 Musings
Heading to my series review draft, Little Women really made viewers happy with its consistent piling of plot twists that are equal parts thrilling and sensible.
What really helped the series stand out is the compelling combination of villains portrayed by Uhm Ki Joon and Uhm Ji Won. Their stories have this dark reverence that helped in understanding the motivation for their malevolence and disheartening disillusionment.
As In-kyung and In-joo work together with help from people who share their sentiments; the urge to know if they can possibly get a happy ending is high.
Reasonably, given the rollercoaster ride Little Women has given so far, viewers have become accustomed to the impossible scenarios that can logically happen.
Slowly, surely and strongly reaching its culminating point, the final episode, hopefully, gives us the satisfaction we’ve been getting since day 1.
