Interestingly, the shocking scenarios and crazy characters in Little Women are really making our weekends so alive!
Flowing to a predictable narrative, the temperamental characters heighten the excitement of the story. The ludicrous trajectory is made more enthralling by how offbeat thinking the heroes and the villains are in this series. It’s easy to accept that there will be expected deaths with how the story is shaping.

Little Women Episode 9 Highlights
Realizing the luggage bears nothing but bricks, Sang-ah pouts as her fun was halted by In-joo’s brave front. Spewing she’s not a fool to think about Hwa-young being alive, the drugged drink kicked in and she gets subdued by Sang-ah’s men.
“I’m giving you this because I completely trust you.”
Do-il arrives to carry on Jae-sang’s order for Sang-ah to stop her crazy “reality play”. In-kyung uses the ledgers in exchange for her sister’s life.
Barely conscious, In-joo tells Do-il where she put the money and hands down the key to the locker where the money 70 billion won is.
Back in Korea, In-kyung confronts her senior, who apparently is a member of Jeongran Society. That’s why all her articles that would implicate the organization did not materialize.
He reasons how his decision emancipated him since people who came from poor backgrounds do not have the freedom that rich people have.
His thoughts about acting as a father figure to In-kyung greatly repulsed her. Warning her of how big and powerful the organization is, he offered a reporter’s job since her other option is to face death.
Pouring out her frustration over bottles of So-ju, In-kyung shares with Jong-ho what happened and he offers for him to take her to the US. Remembering the same offer she got when they were young, Jong-ho clarifies that while he casually said it that time, he really does not see himself being in love with anyone but her.
Surprised at his confession, In-kyung relays their special affinity is not romance and blames herself for not drawing the line properly. Jong-ho reassures her that she was not able to come with him then not because of money but because she can’t bear to leave her family.
Back at home, In-kyung loops Do-il’s father about failing to keep the ledger. When he says that he will proceed as planned into killing him, she offers to join his cause.
“Among all the people I’ve met in my life, you’ve been the kindest to me. So, I’m putting my trust in you. If something happens, please make sure my sisters receive my share.”
Back from Singapore, Sang-ah gives Jae-sang a sneaky cloud-nine moment and makes him promise to kill In-kyung right away. In a great mood, Jae-sang commands his secretary to kill In-kyung.
About to leave for Greece, In-joo receives a call from Jong-ho that In-kyung is missing. A family member needed to get help from the police so he asked her to come back to Seoul.
With his situation, Do-il explains he cannot come with her. She makes him promise that if she dies, he will give her share to her sisters.
In-joo and Jong-ho locate In-kyung who checked in as In-joo at the asylum where Sang-woo, Sang-ah’s brother is staying. Receiving an email from Sang-woo, In-kyung planned to sneak him out of the asylum.
Through In-joo- and Jong-ho’s diversion, they arrive at the cottage where Do-il’s father is waiting. Meanwhile, Do-il rescues In-joo and Jong-ho from being detained in the basement.
Amidst all the ruckus, In-hye is trapped in a closed room prepared by Sang-ah. She told Hyorin that In-hye fled with her money and everything.
Meeting at the safe house, In-kyung insists on using the news with Sang-woo’s testimony to unravel Jae-sang’s wickedness. But Do-il’s father is determined to just kill him in an election rally.
Grabbing the opportunity, Sang-woo escapes and calls Jae-sang to meet and prepare money since he just wants to have a normal life. Sitting on a bench, Jae-sang’s men search for Sang-woo.
Sang-woo cuts Jae-sang’s reverie and points a gun at him.
Little Women Episode 9 Musings
Uhm Ji Won is really making the Little Women ride exasperatingly sweet.
Sometimes she’s making it hard to root for Oh sisters because we’re so amazed at how crazy evil she is, how far her insanity would go; and we’re just excited to see her wreak havoc. *chuckles
Imagine if the plot gets crazier and a crossover of Uhm Ki Joon’s iconic villain character emerged and possessed Jae-sang.
Everything is really possible with the blue orchid around, you see.
What’s really drawing viewers to the story is the balanced merits and frustrating moments of all the lead characters. They can go vulnerable at one point and turns volatile at another.
But it’s not the overly dramatic kind, it still keeps the poise with hints of rationality.
Will Sang-woo successfully settle the score with his old friend? Will In-hye escape Sang-ah’s imprisonment?
