With the ongoing investigation, Seung-Yoo and Yoon-Soo slowly unveil the prejudices happening at Asung High School in the 14th episode of Melancholia.
Meanwhile, Principal Noh succeeds in becoming the new director of their family business but her happiness was hindered by an unexpected happening.

Melancholia Episode 14 Key Moments
The Arrest
With her game face on, Yoon-Soo testifies fiercely about the cheating case that happened years ago which became the reason why she and Seung-Yoo succumbed in a malicious controversy.
Myeong-Jin also reveals that he got a bribe from Hye-Mi to give the answer key to Ye-Rin. On the other hand, Seung-Yoo also tells that Principal Noh set them up to cover the cheating case.
With this, the police investigate the whole house of Assemblyman Sung and Hye-mi that shocked Ye-Rin and her brother. Hye-Mi keeps blurting out that she doesn’t know all the accusations.
However, the principal wants Hye-Mi to take all the blame so that there is someone to receive all the accusations.
Principal Noh’s Unlikely Comeback
With all the happenings, Principal Noh manages to manipulate her father to remove her sanction and give her a chance to become the new director. Her father gives in and accepts her request.
During the meeting, Principal Noh along with her sister Yeon-Woo, are keenly listening to the announcement of the new director. When their father announced that Noh Jung-Ah is the new director she became really happy.
Amidst all the congratulations and greetings, the principal got a call from her assistant that there is an incident happening at the school. She also gets a call from her crying daughter, Ji-Na.
Si-An’s Accident
Meanwhile, at Asung High, Si-An got a low score on her exam but chooses not to be bothered by it. However, Ji-Na and the other rich students got a perfect score.
Later on, Si-An notices the reviewer that Ji-Na and the other kids have has the same exact questions just like their exam. She decides to talk to Ji-Na about what happened. Si-An calls and reports her whereabouts to Yoon-Soo.
Si-An drops the call because someone called her. Ending the episode, she was found lying on the floor with blood on her head. Yoon-Soo and Seung-Yoo go to the school and rush her to the hospital.
A witness teacher of a school talks to Seung-Yoo that she saw Ji-Na. Meanwhile, Principal Noh is shaking with anger with a tinge of fear as her school now faces another issue.
Melancholia Episode 14 Musings
If truth be told, this stage of the story should be something exciting. Thus, it’s surprising how the narrative opted for a subdued one. We all hope for Seung-Yoo and Yoon-Soo’s relationship to achieve clarity, but we have to wait more.
On the brighter side, Seung-Yoo’s attitude is admirable even though Yoon-Soo keeps ignoring his feelings. His attitude shows that he really likes her and he respects her decisions.
Accordingly, Yoon-Soo still thinks that he should live a normal life, away from all the issues surrounding him. He already built his career as a mathematician and she wants him to be on this path.
Moreover, what Ji-Na did to Si-An is very wrong because she almost killed her because of unreasonable reasons. Principal Noh kept protecting her daughter so that Asung would remain unharmed.
Watch out for the last two episodes and Melancholia. More than the romance, we all know what importance that this drama relies upon. Let’s all cheer for our two mathematicians! 🙂
