Moonshine Episodes 11 & 12 Key Moments

“They say the Crown Prince is a rowdy yahoo and I am not crazy enough to marry him.”

Hearing the news from her handmaid that her father would be presenting her as a candidate for the crown princess selection, Ae Jin hurriedly packs her belongings and flees before marrying the Crown Prince, whom she discovers is a rowdy yahoo.

As she leaves their house, Ae Jin sees some men holding torches. She also notices Kang Ro Seo’s wanted poster, indicating that she is the leader of the moonshine organization.

Consequently, Ae Jin travels to Ro Seo’s location and notifies her and the others about her inclusion on the wanted list.

“Come to think of it, you are the Minister of War’s daughter. And I am the leader of the moonshine organization.”

When they have secured a boat for Ro Seo and the others to depart Hanyang, Ro Seo learns from the folks in front of them that Inspector Nam has died. She was on the verge of throwing a fit, but thankfully, they fled the scene immediately.

Following that, Ae Jin and Chun Geum proceed to the gate to count the guards. They quickly informed the others that the soldiers were from the Minister of War and were inspecting women’s faces hidden behind their shawls.

Ro Seo urges her companions to go without her, convincing them that she doesn’t care if there are no alternatives to passing through the gate and that she will jump to the wall if necessary. However, they refuse to abandon Ro Seo.

With the others believing that Ae Jin will lead them to their demise, Ro Seo comes up with a brilliant idea. If she is the moonshine organization leader and Ae Jin is the Minister of War’s daughter, they might be able to sneak past the gate.

“There is something more shocking than seeing someone who dies come back alive.”

After learning of Ro Seo and Ae Jin’s surprising actions, Nam Young, who is not dead at all, seeks help from his fellow trustworthy inspectors. They devised a plan to confront the Minister of War about Ro Seo’s kidnapping of the Minister of War’s daughter.

Conversing with the Minister of War, who is bewildered that Nam Young is still alive, Nam Young informs him that Lady Ae Jin was the one who took advantage of taking his seal.

Subsequently, Nam Young conceals himself amid the inspectors who would escort his empty casket across the capital, and they use a phony Ro Seo to mislead the guards and Merchant Sim.

Finally, Nam Young locates the real Ro Seo and approaches her, letting her know that he is still alive.

“Her father was the only person who treated me without any discrimination although I was born from a servant’s family.”

Informing the King of the moonshiner’s heinous crimes, Nam Young testifies that the person who excavated the tunnel for smuggling liquor and who harmed him was Sim Heon, the merchant of Daesang Port Trading House. As a result of this, His Majesty promoted Nam Young’s rank to Senior Fifth Rank, Head Inspector.

Afterwards, Nam Young is granted a private audience with the Chief Royal Secretary. He then informs Nam Young that all of the evidence he gathered has vanished and the only course of action is to apprehend the perpetrator and force him to confess. Also, the Chief Royal Secretary gives Nam Young a military summons tag, which means the King has given him the power to use the military as he sees fit.

Inquiring about Ro Seo’s whereabouts, the Chief Royal Secretary suddenly reveals to Nam Young that Ro Seo’s father was the only one who treated him without prejudice, despite his birth into a servant’s household.

Despite his friendship with Ro Seo’s father, he asserts to Nam Young that a crime is a crime, and as a government official, he cannot turn away from the abduction of the Minister of War’s daughter.

“I have a ravishing idea. One that would lead to Sim Heon’s capture.”

Given Ro Seo’s recent move of disclosing her face and abducting Ae Jin, Nam Young feels compelled to keep her in his newly found home. To protect Ro Seo momentarily, he must first apprehend Sim Heon.

With that, Ro Seo is left with no choice but to remain inside Nam Young’s house, which is completely unfamiliar to her, and do nothing except wait for Nam Young.

After waiting for Nam Young to return from Saheonbu, Ro Seo approaches him with ink on her face and informs him of her ingenious plan to catch Sim Heon.

Ro Seo drew sketches and left a substantial bounty for anybody who could locate Sim Heon. However, Nam Young advises her that she is unable to do so since their relationship will be misinterpreted and Ro Seo is still on the wanted list.

“What a fool you are? How could you make the woman you love cry?”

Receiving an unexpected visitor, Ro Seo is surprised and dismayed that Crown Prince Pyo visits her late at night and not who she was expecting to visit.

Bringing some liquor with him, Pyo offers Ro Seo a drink, and she accepts it instantly since she is in the mood to drink liquor.

Inviting Ro Seo to the Dragon Palace, Pyo offers her to become his bride, promising that he would make her a precious woman, but also tells her that she may refuse his offer.

Reminding him of their first encounter, Ro Seo encourages him that regardless of whom he marries, Prince Pyo will be able to see her most wonderful side.

Returning to Nam Young’s house, Ro Seo and Pyo arrive with Nam Young waiting for them. He reprimands Ro Seo for returning from a late-night stroll with hundreds of sketches for her outside.

Ro Seo expresses her rage at Nam Young for allowing her to wait interminably for him to return. Pyo, on the other hand, tells Nam Young that he is a fool for causing the woman he loves to cry.

Moonshine Episode 11 & 12 Musings

Moonshine episodes 11 and 12 introduced vital components that kept the series’ plot nearly intact.

To begin with, we discovered that Ro Seo’s father was the one who rescued Nam Young from the temple when he was a child. He recalled this while he was at Un Sim’s keepsake.

Although we are not entirely certain why he is there in the first place, we are hopeful that the reason will be revealed in the upcoming episodes.

We also learned in recent episodes that Nam Young is aware that Ro Seo’s father’s death is connected to the late Crown Prince’s death but lacks the confidence to inform Ro Seo.

Admirably, we are amazed by the closeness between Ro Seo and Ae Jin, as Ae Jin does her best to console Ro Seo due to her excessive worry about why Nam Young is not going home to her. She even amusingly gave Ro Seo a makeover in order for Nam Young to be taken aback by her beauty.

Above all, Moonshine re-establishes the gravitating feelings due to the Crown Prince and Nam Young’s admiring features and their genuine love for Ro Seo. One shields her discreetly from harm, while the other defends her in a soothing manner during her moments of difficulty.

Don’t miss the vibrant characters and heartwarming narrative of Moonshine on Viu!
