Krystal Jung Broke Up With Jung Jin Young In “Police University” Episode 14

Targeting and arresting Kang Sun Ho, Detective Yoo Dong Man is more driven to unveil the professor working with the gambling ring in Police University.

After finding the ledger hidden in  Police University, the illegal gambling leader, once again, stops Kang Sun Ho and Detective Yoo Dong Man. As Kang Sun Ho fails to keep his promises, Oh Kang Hee decides to end their relationship.

Police University Episode 14 Key Moments

“Go and find the evidence right now! If you find nothing, make one and bring it to me. Find it by any means necessary! Keep holding Kang Sun Ho up.”

As Kang Sun Ho accommodates Detective Yoo Dong Man in the hospital, the police officers under the supervision of Chief Han arrested him. He was arrested with no warrant and accused of helping the gambling ring member escape. 

Knowing his hacking capabilities, Chief Han Jung Sik sees Kang Sun Ho as a threat to their illegal website. On the other hand, Detective Yoo Dong Man expresses his anger at what Chief Han did to his student.

Nevertheless, Chief Han continues to stop Kang Sun Ho while Detective Yoo Dong Man proceeds to find more evidence and find the culprit in the university. 

“You lied to me and met with Go Deok Bae and Han Jung Sik.”

With the information found in the safe, Detective Yoo Dong Man also realizes that indeed, Professor Choi Hee Soo is connected with the illegal gambling members. 

He confronts Professor Choi and asked if she has something to do with the illegal transactions. However, Professor Choi explains that the foundation they established aims to support police officers financially. 

Still, she does not give a concrete answer to Detective Yoo Dong Man. Nevertheless, the information she provided helped and led him to another clue. 

Detective Yoo finds another evidence in which this factory that produces protective gear for police officers is funded the most. He then interrogates a factory worker and finds out that Professor Seo Sang Hak is involved with the foundation.

“I felt that way every time my mom got arrested. And now, my boyfriend is making me anxious. Let’s stop it now.”

In the last episode, Kang Sun Ho and Oh Kang Hee have gotten into an argument after Sun Ho decided to continue the investigation even though his life is threatened. 

Kang Sun Ho then promised Kang Hee that he will not get in trouble and risk his life again. But then again, Kang Sun Ho is arrested, and Kang Hee felt mixed emotions after finding out what happened to him.

Having and seeing someone she loved breaking the law is not easy for her to accept and believe. Oh Kang Hee finally decided to end their relationship after feeling her feelings to be invalid to Kang Sun Ho. 

Police University Episode 14 Musings

In this episode, I also felt rollercoasters of emotions after witnessing another set of revelations and dilemmas. I honestly got confused by what Professor Choi Hee Soo said and what Detective Yoo Dong Man find out. 

I hope they will elaborate more on how and why the foundation became a cover for the illegal gambling ring. But as far as I understand Professor Choi only aims to help the police officers especially after his husband passed away. 

With what Professor Seo shared with the students, he also doesn’t want to harm anyone. His character justified that we should not tolerate someone we know and love to commit their mistakes repeatedly. 

On the other hand, I’m still dumbfounded by Kang Sun Ho and Oh Kang Hee’s sudden breakup. Nevertheless, I hope and believe that they would start again and tell each other the negative things they should work on.
