To clear the name of Professor Yoo Dong Man, Kang Sun Ho leads unlocking the clues hidden inside the Police University.
As Detective Yoo collects pieces of information that point to corruption in the Police University, someone daunts him from unraveling their secrets. Kang Sun Ho then reaches out to his friends to prove Professor Yoo’s innocence.

A Plan To Put A Break On Detective Yoo Dong Man’s Feet
“Why did you touch Sun Ho’s laptop?”
Now that Detective Yoo and Sun Ho have enough evidence, they quickly confront Park Chul Jin. Even though Detective Yoo still can’t believe what he did, he still carries on to put an end to the case.
However, Chul Jin keeps denying the evidence the two have. Detective Yoo also noticed his reactions and figures out that he is involved with the case.
“If Chul Jin is the culprit, don’t you think we should investigate how deep he is involved in, and who is hiding behind him?”
As the two nears to unmask the culprit, the people behind the illegal gambling want to stop him from doing it. Someone assigns Chul Jin again and threatens him if his plans don’t work out.
An exam paper of Professor Yoo suddenly leaks, and a “bribed” appears at his table. With these pieces of evidence, the police took and investigates him.
Professor Yoo Dong Man’s Student’s Teamwork
“I’ll make sure to find evidence of you.”
When Professor Yoo was arrested, the students and professor don’t believe he did it. For Sun Ho, the only clue to prove Professor Yoo’s innocence is Park Chul Jin.
“I must catch the culprit. Speaking of which, can you guys help me?”
Sun Ho, Kang Hee, Beom Tae, and Joon Wook are discussing the possibilities on how the exams got leaked. They then join together and start a “mini” investigation inside the campus.
While Sun Ho is investigating, he uses the things he learned from Professor Yoo and applies them.
On the other hand, Min-Kyu sees Kang Hee. Kang Hee remembers what Min-Kyu said and confesses that she likes someone.
“Because trying is better than not trying at all. Would you hand me a bullet so I can protect Professor Yoo?”
Like what most investigation does, Sun Ho tries to get the video footage on the incident. The personnel firmly denies Sun Ho’s request and acted suspiciously.
Still, Sun Ho can’t get the footage that can lead to the culprit. He then asks for help from Professor Seo Sang Hak to access it.
Professor Seo knew that Sun Ho and Professor Yoo are investigating a case. To help their investigation, he handed the files to Sun Ho.
Yoo Dong Man’s Value For Friendship
“I told you that I’ll protect you. I’m finally keeping my word.”
Detective Yoo knew that Chul Jin is working for the people he investigates. Nevertheless, he took the blame because he knows that Chul Jin might be in danger again.
He keeps on remembering what happened to Chul Jin and blames himself for not protecting him.
Moreover, Sun Ho confronts him again now that he found the evidence. Chul Jin admires Sun Ho’s fearlessness and wishes he can be the same.
“Senior Inspector Yoo Dong Man. My supervisor. You no longer need to have my back.”
At the police station, Professor Yoo finally speaks up and lies that he indeed leaked the papers.
Kang Sun Ho and his classmates hurry to hand the evidence to the police. When they arrived, Chul Jin is already there and confesses that he is behind it.
Police University Episode 8 Musings
Today’s episode challenges the friendship and trust of the characters. Furthermore, it unravels more clues and sets a different mood from the previous episodes.
Park Chul Jin’s character is intriguing and confusing at the same time. As he unveils his intentions, it is the only way to protect and stop further violence from happening.
On the other hand, Professor Yoo Dong Man’s attitude embodies what a true man, friend, and police officer is. Throughout his career, he experienced losing and betrayed by his loved ones.
Nonetheless, he still continues to put first the safety of the people around him. He did fail to be competent with his expertise, but he did not fail to be the best person one is lucky to have.
With the experiences and lessons Kang Sun Ho got from Professor Yoo, he continuously excels. Even though there are hindrances and discouragements, he did not give up and clings to the promises he made.
