Secret Royal Inspector Joy Finale Week Key Moments
The Start Of Park Tae Seo’s Endless Yearning
Finally turning themselves, Park Tae Seo, Kang Han Ki, and Ji Maeng Soo set to leave Tail Island to Hanyang. However, Park Seung and Park Do Soo encountered them while visiting their newly owned property.
With no mercy, Park Do Soo stabbed Tae Seo twice as soon as he sees him. Their father also witnesses Tae Seo’s dying moment but still ignores his son’s call for him.
Sensing his death, Tae Seo was able to forgive and talk to his mother for the last time before dying in the hands of his brother and father. In his last moments, he still shows and longs for his father’s genuine love. Along with him, Han Ki and Maeng Soo die under Park Seung’s men.
More Heads Are Better Than One
Through accepting different orders around Hanyang, Kim Jo Yi receives suspicious customized socks. She then finds out that these orders are from Park Seung’s household and sees that he is hiding a letter inside the pocket of his sock.
Kwang Soon also finds evidence from his father’s belongings that proves the Crown Prince died from poisoning. Moreover, Jo Yi’s mother returns and helps the royal inspector to take down Park Seung.
Tae Seo’s mother also searches Deok Bong and tells her about the incidents in Tail Island. With the new evidence and their determination to stop Park Seung, Ra Yi Eon, Jo Yi, and others use their skills to obtain the letter Park Seung is hiding.
After their plan succeeds, Yi Eon bravely visits the King to expose his involvement in the Crown Prince’s death despite knowing the risks. However, the King permits him to arrest Park Seung, where he quickly did after Do Soo confesses about his father’s crimes.
A Start Of Something New
Once Yi Eon got his hands on Park Seung, he first made him apologize to the people who lost loved ones because of him. Anger also did not consume him, but he let kindness and the law punish Park Seung.
Not long after his arrest, Do Soo’s mother visits him and tells Park Seung about the truth. Guilt and pain let him experience true pain and causes him to repent from his crimes.
On the other hand, Yi Eon, Jo Yi, and the others chose to move forward and plan to establish a business together. Yi Eon also resigns from his position as a royal inspector and decides to follow his dreams to be the best chef in Joseon.
Together, they successfully grew their business and Yi Eon’s dumpling restaurant garners customers from different walks of life. However, knowing that Jo Yi is in good hands, Deok Bong leaves her daughter again to continue her desire to help oppressed women and children.
To maintain Kwang Soon’s status, Yook Chil stops himself from asking her hand for marriage. Nevertheless, Jo Yi, Yi Eon, Bi Ryung, and Goo Pal helps Kwang Soon to prepare for her proposal.
Furthermore, Yi Eon’s grandmother finally gave her blessing and permission to marry Jo Yi. Yi Eon also shares his blessing by changing Yook Chil and Goo Pal’s status and freeing them as a slave.

Even though he is Yi Eon’s rival, we can’t help but emphasize and love his character. Since the beginning, we’ve seen and felt Tae Seo’s kindness, unlike many antagonists.
Through the pain he experienced from his father, he taught us that kindness and respect should triumph over envy and anger. Despite his kindness and respect, he wasn’t able to give that to himself. His devotion to his father blinded him to maintain those qualities in him.
However, his sudden death made us upset, and our hope for him to start a new life vanished. As we welcome a new year, Tae Seo and Secret Royal Inspector Joy remind us to welcome it with happiness and love together with our loved ones.
