“Remember” Challenges Lee Sung Min With Difficult-To-Play Character and Action Scenes

In terms of reliability, Lee Sung Min has proven a decorated acting career across various genres.

For his latest role, the seasoned actor challenges action scenes complementing the revenge plot of the film.

Remember traverses how Pil-ju, an 80-year-old Alzheimer’s patient sets forth to complete his revenge planned for 60 years before his memory disappears.

Containing a variety of action scenes that involves guns, body fights, and car chases, Director Lee Il-hyung conveyed the film presents the action of an elderly man in his 80s, which has never been seen anywhere else.

“If you direct with too slow pacing, the spectacle and excitement will disappear, so in designing the action, we put a lot of effort into finding the key point to highlight Pil-ju. The grandfather on a revenge mission who is an elderly person.”

Remember

Another action scene worth noting is the use of the red sports car Porsche 911 Carrera. Throughout the movie, it added visual pleasure to the action scenes of Remember by highlighting the strengths of a sports car. From rapid acceleration, sprinting, reversing, drifting, and urgent moments to escape; it provided mind-blowing car chase frames throughout the movie.

Vengeance is a strong and intense emotion, but the movement of Pil-ju is slow. Nevertheless, it is a device that allows the audience to quickly follow the emotion of revenge as the character rides in a fast sports car. Correspondingly, the appearance of Pil-ju and In-gyu driving a car will deliver thrilling suspense.

Remember, starring Lee Sung Min and Nam Joo Hyuk will be released on October 26.
