Le Ciel Building 101 residents are caught between a psycho killer and a multitude of infected people craving for their blood in the penultimate episode of Happiness!
Complete chaos erupts in the 11th episode of Happiness. As personal survival, greed and vengeance of the residents heightened; Sae-bom and Yi-hyun also faced their very own happiness fading away.

Happiness Episode 11 Key Moments
“Look at me. We’ll stay alive and get out.”
Fatally wounded, Detective Kim is tended by Yi-hyun who rushes Sae-bom to help. Taking Seo-yoon as his hostage, Sae-bom assures the girl that she will take her back from Andrew.
Focusing on Detective Kim’s wound, Sae-bom encourages her husband to bear everything since their goal is to stay alive. She’s unaware of how Yi-hyun is mustering strength to control his craving.
Yi-hyun calls Han Tae-seok and uses Sae-bom’s antibodies as a bargaining agreement. He also tells about the medical emergency for Detective Kim and Seo-yoon.
Andrew faces Yi-hyun and Sae-bom who don’t hide the look of disgust on the psychopath in front of them. Back at the gym, the residents discuss the identity of spree killer Andrew who has been interacting with them for a while now.
Apparently, Ju-hyung witnessed how Andrew killed the cleaning lady. He even coached him on how to dispose of the body. Thereafter, he connives with Yeon-ok to use him so they can take down the newlyweds.
From mercilessly killing Se-hun by telling him that Sae-bom is in danger, Andrew brings the two to the basement. When Yeon-ok learned the two are in contact outside, she exaggeratedly fussed over it.
“Food doesn’t fall from the sky. You know someone would get hurt. You heard you’d benefit if you remain silent.”
Confirming Yeon-ok’s claim, Sae-bom assured that all the evildoings of Yeon-ok and Ju-hyung would not go unpunished. Yi-hyun also chides the accomplices to the sick connivance they did.
Lawyer Kook’s wife, So-yoon, heads to the 5th floor to get Seo-yoon and was surprised to deduce her husband tolerated the wicked conspiration against the 5th-floor couple.
Hesitant to leave Detective Kim, Seo-yoon asks So-yoon if they can bring him. However, his mobility is already limited so he reassures the young girl that he would be okay.
Off the married friends go to the electric room to turn on the emergency generator for the building’s power supply to flow.
After successfully turning on the generator, the two brace themselves for a flock of infected people to swarm them.
True to what they have foreseen, they run together but go to another entrance route in case loony Andrew goes for an ambush.
Unfortunately, Dong-hyun, who tagged along with them gets trapped inside his car that won’t start.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t tell you. I’m sorry I couldn’t keep my promise.”
While waiting for the “married friends”, Yeon-ok has the presence of mind to cut a deal with Andrew of not implicating them of his murders. He is preparing to shoot Yi-hyun and Sae-bom when they arrive. Creepily, he agrees to the request.
Meanwhile, Yi-hyun confesses that Sae-bom really has the antibodies. The unstable power supply causes the elevator to malfunction opening the door to a floor with a few infected people. Protecting his wife Yi-hyun uses his body as a shield as Sae-bom sees the scar marking him as infected.
With all her might, she pulled him back inside the elevator. Confessing he doesn’t know how to tell his situation, Yi-hyun apologized to Sae-bom. He admits wanting to always show his cool side to her.
Inching closer to her husband, Sae-bom touches his face against his warning of how his heart races every time she’s close. She responds feeling the same and professes how she likes him a lot.
Pulling him to her tight embrace, tears well on her eyes worried about what will happen between them. Unknown to her, Yi-hyun already revealed to Tae-seok that he’s infected. The latter also ordered Ji-soo to have Yi-hyun be shot if he will cause trouble to Sae-bom.
“The world is falling apart. Who cares about the money?”
Not wasting time to steal the resources on the 5th floor, Ju-hyung inquires Yeon-ok of her plans with Andrew. Contrary to her friendly face earlier, she already has a plan to let the police take care of him.
Telling her to take vitamins or pills that she can find, evil Ju-hyung heads to the nearby room to suffocate Detective Kim. When he was done joking around, he checks the room for some NEXT pills.
Finding what he was seeking, he goes back to his place and finds Sang-hee hopelessly checking his laptop. She picks a golf club and sways it on him.
Separating from Yi-hyun to get Seo-yoon, Sae-bom found Lawyer Kook outside as So-yoon finally realized she married a disgusting person.
After locking Yeon-ok who ransacked their place, Yi-hyun who fetched Detective Kim meets Sae-bom and Seo-yoon. Breaking up with her husband, So-yoon also joins them. Later, Lawyer Kook goes to Sang-hee and helps with her plan of getting the code to unlock Ju-hyung’s wealth stash.
Sensing something strange happening with the people he wants to kill, Andrew finds the cleaning couple. They entangle in a scuffle, but the psycho stabbed Se-kyu ajussi.
“Sorry I can’t go with you. I was sincerely happy because we were together.”
Finding the people he’s looking for on the rooftop, they rush to escape Andrew. Yi-hyun creates a diversion but got shot by the villain.
He rushes to go outside and locks himself on the rooftop with Andrew.
Telling his wife to go ahead, Sae-bom panics as another gunshot wounded Yi-hyun.
Alone with Andrew, Yi-hyun shares how he met Sae-bom on a rooftop and fell in love with her thereafter. Responding to his first love reminiscence, Andrew points a gun on his head.
He asks Yi-hyun to turn around since it’s boring not to see his face when he kills him. Unluckily, his request becomes a death wish. Yi-hyun transforms and bites his neck savagely.
“The world can wait. I must find Yi-hyun. If I lose Hyun, I might really crumble.”
Successfully driving to the rendezvous point, Han Tae-seok came prepared with an injection that would sedate Sae-bom. Before her consciousness fades, she only wants to get back to Yi-hyun. When she regained consciousness, she musters her strength and voices her intention to still look for her husband.
Han Tae-seok appeals to Sae-bom to focus so they can work on the cure that might change the situation. He assures her that all she wanted will still be hers if the cure can be developed through her antibodies. However, Sae-bom refuses to cooperate and is bent to reunite with Yi-hyun.
Leaving no choice, Tae-seok introduces his infected wife. They strike a deal to help each other with their loved ones at stake.
Sae-bom agrees to give her plasma cure to Tae-seok’s wife for her to recover only if they will go back to Le Ciel and lure the infected people so they can find Yi-hyun.
She goes back to her room and checks the video left by Yi-hyun on her phone confessing of how he really wanted to be together.
He also hopes for the best so he can properly propose to her and tell her how much he likes her. Playing the video on repeat, Sae-bom agonizingly weeps.
Happiness Episode 11 Musings
Let’s all claim a happy ending for Happiness! We know a complete pandemonium would emerge at Building 101. Layering it with the romance we’ve been waiting for definitely sealed the deal.
Right now, I want to hold on to the tiny hope of the promise that what Han Tae-seok told Sae-bom would come true.
I need at least to see Sae-bom and Yi-hyun kiss before the series ends. Avid K-Drama fans following this series all deserve it.
Other than that, serving the most painful ending for Ju-hyung and Yeon-ok would also be enough of a Christmas gift. *chuckles
I’m reserving a lot of things to say on the review. Based on the final episode, the remaining people at the building would go for an interesting and intense survival battle.
Thankfully, we won’t get any disappointment as our valiant female lead has no other plans but to rescue her infected husband.
