The bizarre yet delightful lead pair of Behind Your Touch expressed fond memories about the series.
Behind Your Touch traces the story of a diligent veterinarian who can see the past of animals and people by touching their bums. Through her psychometric ability, she was able to solve problems with a passionate detective who needed to solve a serial killing case so he could go back to his old elite department.
Portraying the role of veterinarian Bong Ye-bun is Han Ji Min. Opposite her is Lee Min Ki who played the role of Moon Jang-yeol.
Expressing her thoughts about saying goodbye to her latest work, Han Ji Min is grateful
“Before the first broadcast, it was my first time doing a genre that mixed comedy and thriller, and I thought comedy was a matter of taste, so I was worried and nervous about how viewers would view it. After it aired, many people said that it was fun and the thrilling part of determining who the culprit was also made the viewers curious. So, I was thankful that it seemed to receive more interest than what I expected. So, when the show finally ended, I feel sad.”
Committed to her role, the actress also accepted the challenge of the action scenes. She shared how she was informed that she would have to climb a telephone pole. Later, the director opted to skip it but she insisted on doing it.
“I was wondering when I would climb to the top of a telephone pole and when I would be able to meet a character like this. The action team came to the scene, and compared to their presence, the action I did was small, so everyone laughed. Even though it was hard on my body, it was fun to be able to do something I had never done before, and the filming team was always very considerate, so I was able to film without risk and have fun.“
Likewise, Lee Min Ki echoes the happiness he had filming Behind Your Touch and conveys gratitude to the viewers.
“We sincerely thank the viewers who have chased down the criminal with us. I’m really happy that there’s been a lot of love for the drama. I hope you had a good time while we were together. Enjoy the rest of the year and stay healthy and happy.“
Lee Min Ki gained popularity in this series by making such effort into his passionate acting and creating famous scenes. His witty humor and adorable banter with Ye-bun provided laughter to the audience.
