Set for a spectacular show, Park Hae Jin, Jin Ki Joo, Jung Joon Ho, and Kim Hee Jae prepares the mood of From Now On Showtime as they transform into their roles in recent character posters.
Slated to broadcast every weekend starting on April 23, Showtime Begins continues the fun with its recent teaser materials. From video teasers, stills, and posters, Director Lee Hyung Min (Strong Girl Bong Soon) and Writer Ha Yoon Ah (Mystic Pop-Up Bar) vouches for another refreshing comical and investigative drama to viewers.
From Now On Showtime follows the story of a popular magician Cha Cha Woon (Park Hae Jin), who has three “spooktacular” assistants.
Coming from the spiritual realm, Jung Sung Yong, Ko Kyu Pil, and Park Seon Yeon, act as the ghost assistants of Cha Woong. Accordingly, they will leave heartwarming stories from their characters.
They then meet a passionate police officer, Go Seul Hae (Jin Ki Joo), who can see ghosts but is afraid of accepting her ability. Ki Joo realizes that Cha Woong and his assistants can help her with investigations.
The recent character poster features Park Hae Jin wearing a printed suit –ready to enchant with his magic — while Jin Ki Joo proudly wears and gleams on her police uniform.
On the other hand, Jung Joon Ho, who plays a 2,000-year-old spirit, gears up with his armor and sword. Rookie actor Kim Hee Jae — debuting in the series as a young police officer — dons a charismatic presence with a black velvet suit and is ready to show his acting skills on the small screen.
MBC Drama has now revealed four video teasers starting last April 7. In these teasers, Hae Jin’s and Ki Joo’s synergy is overflowing with comical and magical chemistry. Humorous cuts from the series give audiences a peek that Showtime Begins will be full of laughter and adventure.
