“Sacred Divorce” Flaunts Cho Seung Woo In His New JTBC Drama Role

Warming up anticipation, Sacred Divorce released teaser photos of Cho Seung Woo who will be returning as a divorce lawyer in a new series.

Sacred Divorce tells the story of a 45-year-old piano artist turned divorce lawyer, Shin Sung-han, played by Cho Seung Woo

He will encounter different disputes in marriage and brings back together married couples and solves their family problems. It will also show stories he shared with his two best friends.

Sung-han grew up in a well-off family and lived a life everyone is envious of. He is a former professor at a music university in Germany majoring in piano and became a divorce specialist at the age of 39. He then made a life-changing decision as he returns to South Korea to become a lawyer to find out about the news he heard.

Han Hye Jin will take on the role of Lee Seo-jin, the female lead in the drama. Leo Seo-jin is a radio DJ who used to be a weathercaster. However, during a divorce case that escalated into a custody dispute, she begins to get involved with Shin Sung-ha, a divorce lawyer.

Rounding up the lead cast are Kim Sung Kyun and Jung Moon Sung who will be playing the roles of Cho’s friends in the series.

Penning the script for Sacred Divorce is Writer Yoo Young Ah of Thirty-Nine and Encounter fame.

In the photos unveiled, Cho Seung Woo dons long hair evoking a free-spirited personality that does not conform to formalities. Sung-han appears to know how to enjoy life.

Thus, it piques interest to why he gave up his career as an artist and became a lawyer. Also, if he is aspiring something as an end game.

Sacred Divorce is set to premiere on March 4 on JTBC.
