Tackling the subject of erectile dysfunction, Yoon Shi Yoon is billed to draw an interesting character in the 8-episode series produced by Studio S.

Portraying the role of the 30-year-old man named Yong-shik who reunites with his first love Luda (Ahn Hee Yeon).

The quirky love story takes an interesting twist as the reunion of the two former lovers is of a doctor-patient.

With Dong-shik facing a predicament of erectile dysfunction and Luda as a doctor who is tasked to treat it.

Relaying his reason for choosing his latest project, the actor revealed the attraction to a drama dealing with an unambiguous subject.

“I found out that erectile dysfunction damages the body and mind at the same time. It was impressive to see the story depicting the situation by comparing it to the insecure and unstable youth generation.”

Parading interesting teasers so far, You Raise Me Up traces Dong-shik’s vibrant youth that changes when adulting happened affecting his self-esteem.

“I wanted to express the accumulated psychology of Yong-shik, who often suffered from a sense of helplessness and suddenly reached the stage of despair.”

Furthermore, there is a story of Yong-shik getting comforted with his obsession with the color pink. “In order to properly reflect this, I paid attention to every action,” said Yoon.

You Raise Me Up

Yong-sik is a person who remains diligent in his moral duty as a human being despite struggling with life setbacks. “I have the courage to convey my thoughts and feelings confidently,” the actor added.

Heralding a new charming character, Yoon Shi Yoon chose Yong-shik and his journey to regain his lost vitality owing to its inspiring message.

“The biggest advantage of You Raise Me Up is that it is not plain. You can find so many pleasant stories and sympathy points, so I think you can all look forward to it.”

You Raise Me Up premieres exclusively on Wavve on beginning August 31.
