Here’s How To Visit Park Min Young’s Holiday House In “Love In Contract”
Love In Contract Episode 6 Highlights
Surprised to see Ji-ho at her doorstep, and even more surprised by the emotions that she can fathom; Sang-eun let her long-term contract husband tag along with her spur-of-the-moment mountain hiking adventure.
“I want to extend our contract.”
Running down the reasons why he is eligible for another contract, Sang-eun refused initially. Ji-ho explains that the housewarming party is already expected in the office, there’s even a group chat for it.
They meet on Monday and Sang-eun agrees to a “follow-up” appearance at the housewarming party. To convince her to extend the contract, he was able to find the right words to say. He confesses that the deputy director at work that Sang-eun met previously is the only person who believes in Ji-ho. Thus, he needs to be on his good side and he needs Sang-eun for that.
Settling contracts, Sang-eun huddled Ji-ho and Hae-jin and declared she can only be with them for three months. The former takes his old schedule of Monday, Wednesday and Friday while Hae-jin gets Tues, Thursday and Saturday. Since he gave way, he insisted on the additional privilege of Ji-ho taking care of Jamie on days that Sang-eun is with him because of her allergy.
Over chess on the first day of their contract, Sang-eun shared with Hae-jin how she thought Ji-ho could have feelings for her. Understanding where she’s coming from, they looked back on how Sang-eun caused a ruckus at the family dinner full of rage towards his older brother to whom she was betrothed before.
“I had a first love. I even married my first love. I actually don’t know if I should talk about this.”
To prepare for the housewarming party, Ji-ho joins sang-eun in getting new things for his house to make it look like a couple’s house.
Sang-eun drives him back to his place and they subconsciously share how they both don’t have parents anymore. She also feeds him about possible questions his workmates will ask like how they met, their first date and more.
Learning from the book he read about improving interpersonal skills, Ji-ho acknowledged how they opened up about their parents’ details. So, he also shares with Sang-eun that he once had a “first love” he even married. But he didn’t go into the details of how painful it was.
“Because you’re my first love.”
All equipped for the housewarming party, Sang-eun welcomes everyone to her supposed love nest with Ji-ho.
Engaging in games, she truly made efforts to help Ji-ho earn brownie points, down to the food and games prepared.
Waking up back to her apartment feeling fuzzy from the booze and fatigue from last night; she narrates the events to Gwangnam. But because she has a schedule with Hae-jin, she has to fight the hangover and lack of sleep.
Posing as lovers enjoying each other’s company at the nearby garden of the residence, the paparazzi feast on capturing photos. Just then, Sang-eun dozes which Hae-jin also likes because she got to lean on him.
Fragments of her memory resurface and she suddenly remembers how in the bottle game spin, her tipsy self, shut Ji-ho’s tiresome law blab with a kiss.
Love In Contract Episode 6 Musings
The syrupy fun plot is heading toward more endearing moments in Love In Contract. Now, that Sang-eun remembered the awkward kiss she gave fueled by alcohol and probably by inner desire, hopefully, his rational mind of Ji-ho can pick up from there.
This episode establishes the picture often emerging in a love triangle. We can see how Sang-eun can converse and express herself freely to Hae-jin. But with Ji-ho she contemplates first assessing scenarios and all.
On that note, we can infer where the real romance is going here. But of course, as the signature flavor of Korean rom-coms, we get to have a second lead syndrome. A smitten one so we hope the drama gives him a happy ending
To be honest, the mutual romance blossoming between Sang-eun and Ji-ho needs to have a decisive route. Individually, the characters are both interesting. But the onscreen romance being threaded is not fully engaging yet.
Fortunately, there are more episodes left for that to happen. So, let’s look forward for it to manifest.
