Melancholia Episode 11 Key Moments
Yoon-Soo Congratulated Seung-Yoo on His Book Launch
After their encounter in the library, Seung-Yoo notices there is someone following them and taking pictures. He knew that many people are hiddenly following them.
Meanwhile, Seung-Yoo sets to launch his first book and invites Yoon-Soo to come. She hesitates at first but eventually prepares some flowers for Seung-Yoo.
When Yoon-Soo reaches the event place she bought a book and smiles secretly showing her thankfulness for what Seung-Yoo has achieved. She gives the flowers to Seung-Yoo and ask for his signature on the book.
In return, Seung-Yoo invites Yoon-Soo to dinner and they ate together. She also smiles when she saw that the book is dedicated to her.
Yoon-Soo Went to Asung High School
On the other side, Prinicipal Noh sees the pictures that Seung-Yoo and Yoon-Soo are seeing each other. This makes her very frustrated and angry.
Because of that, Principal Noh plots an evil plan to make Yoon-Soo see her. She accuses Si-An that she is plagiarizing a math answer on Yoon-Soo’s father’s thesis paper. Moreover, the principal also threatens Si-An that she would lose her scholarship and benefits. She can also expel Si-An from the school..
Yoon-Soo got the news and immediately rushes to the school and confronts Principal Noh. She’s waiting for an apology but it never came, that’s why Yoon-Soo said to Principal Noh that she should look out for her daughter especially in the case of theft.
Seung-Yoo Exposed to the Public What Happened Years Ago
Doing his plan, Seung-Yoo uses his position in Asung High School along with his achievements to get back the reputation that they lost years ago.
In an event, he was assigned to give a speech about his plan for the National Mathematics Museum. Many big names and media are on the event place. He starts his speech about the use of true and false in Mathematics.
Seung-Yoo reiterates that in the modern world, a piece of false news can be turned into something true and vice versa. Holding the stone that he got from Yoon-Soo years ago, he musters his courage to open up what happened years ago.
He runs down the allegation that a math teacher and a student of Asung High School have some romantic relationship. Seung-Yoo also admits to the public that the student he was talking about is him.
Yoon-Soo Assessing Her Feelings for Seung-Yoo
Seung-Yoo and Yoon-Soo still have arguments on how to execute their plan. Seung-Yoo wants to do it together but she doesn’t want to.
Moreover, Seung-Yoo finds out that Yoon-Soo partnered with Sung-Jae and he doesn’t like that idea. She admits that he is driving her crazy and wants him to stay out of it.
He confronts Yoon-Soo about why is he making her crazy and asks her to think of the sole reason. In the preview episode, it seems that Yoon-Soo starts to fall in love with the problem, like what Seung-Yoo felt years ago.
Melancholia Episode 11 Musings
The episode makes a real comeback and exposes the stronger side of Yoon-Soo. I didn’t expect that she would be the one to confront Principal Noh but I admire her courage to do so.
Sometimes it’s annoying how the principal protects her reputation more than anything else and forgets that she has a daughter. Let’s hope that we can see the character development of Principal Noh in the other episodes of Melancholia.
On the other hand, what shocked us the most is that Seung-Yoo talked to the public and revealed that he succumbed to an issue years ago with a teacher. We can see how he wants to clear their names especially to make Yoon-Soo happy again.
That one move declared war against all the people that plotted the issue years ago and changed their lives. I just hope that this time Yoon-Soo would consider teaming up with Seung-Yoo.
One reason that we can speculate why she doesn’t want to work with Seung-Yoo is that she wanted to protect Seung-Yoo from harm along with his achievements. Behind all of these, we can say that maybe Yoon-Soo starts to fall in love with Seung-Yoo.
Expect more tension and fluttering moments in the last five episodes of Melancholia.
