Taxi Driver 2

Taxi Driver 2 Episodes 13 and 14 Highlights

Marking the villain who stealthily caused trouble to the team, Do-ki and company takes on a new case about a popular and high-end club named Black Sun.

Aside from helping a new client, it also leads them to Ha-jun and the evil organization he belongs to.

“I haven’t found out how deep this club runs.”

Surmising his first encounter with Ha-jun, Mr. Jang traces the whereabouts of the taxi he drives.

When the team huddled, they mark Jeongsam police station as a key player in the operation of Black Sun. They need to get the recorder that Journalist Kim gave to his police friend who died.

Attuned to that, they mobilize causing trouble to Black Sun by using Victor, Do-ki’s instant friend who is a patron of the club’s special service to high-rolling clients.

These clients have options to pick girls they like and the women will be sent as packages. They will wake up in a hotel room with a stranger and the police won’t listen to them.

Apparently, they go to Jeongsam police station which already established a relationship with the club.

More so, a defined CCTV clip is secured by Black Sun to prove the girls went to the hotel of their own volition.

To stain Black Sun’s posh image, the team also used Victor to book clients. The clients booked are elderly which caused the real customers to leave the place.

Having their own outsmarting game, Ha-jun and Officer Park face off to a drug bust that involves Bishop’s favored woman, Madam Yang.

Officer Park who is vying for a higher position needed some brownie points and used the drug deal Ha-jun promised to take care of with Madam Yang.

The chief of security picks on the irregularities that point to their new recruit. He drugs him and made him do the same routine the drugged ladies also went through.

Do-ki’s teammates meddle with the guards’ plan to have Do-ki cross a big street.

He escapes peril and when he wakes up in the hospital, he presents the recorder pen as the last memory he got. Safely tucking it in before the drug took over, they go over its content.

“One day, when people like you learn to listen to what journalists like you say, people like me will disappear.”

Meeting Journalist Kim if he can remember anything that could be of help since Detective Choi left a specific message for him.

The journalist got some documents left by Detective Choi about the secret dealings of the club and Jeongsam police officers involved.

Team Rainbow learns how drugs to be incinerated are sold to Black Sun which has been used to the women they sent as packages.

Meanwhile, the villains also caught up with Team Rainbow when the security chief informs Officer Park that a rookie caused trouble.

Ha-jun confirms Do-ki is not yet dead, thus, his men wield their power by visiting the taxi company’s base.

On D-Day of Madam Yang’s drug retail selling event, the drugs turned out to be flour and chaos ensued at Black Sun. Amidst the mayhem, Ha-jun spots Do-ki on full taunting bravado.

Team Rainbow also placed all the smuggled drug packs at the newly appointed Commissioner Park’s office.

Black Sun’s security chief and Madam Yang together with the two evil detectives at Jeongsam police station are sent to be trialed.

Commissioner Park who sought refuge at Ha-jun’s place was killed by Ha-jun. Ha-jun pleads for another chance from the bishop so he can kill Kim Do-ki.

In the fading scene, Do-ki is seen taking the “bishop” as the new client.

Taxi Driver 2 Episodes 13 and 14 Musings

Making sure that everything is all planned out, Taxi Driver 2 pitched its closing chapters to perfection.

Ahead of the final showdown, Team Rainbow is up with probably the most cunning opponents they have.

As seen in episode 15 preview, the game appears to go dirty and deadly. Ha-jun and the bishop are certainly enemies not to be taken lightly.

Week 7 of Taxi Driver 2 spotlights a prominent societal concern about how exclusive and posh places can become venues for illegal activities to thrive.

With an entrenched connection to the police that is supposed to eliminate lawless acts and injustice, victims will forever bear the emotional scars of being violated.

A journalist being a whistleblower in this week’s story also encourages the press people to pursue the true meaning of their profession as vanguards of social inequity.

Seamlessly drawn and executed, the series proved its hype and more by living to its promise of an upgraded second season.

Don’t miss the exciting last week of the series as Team Rainbow compete with the equally ingenious antagonists.
